"Why exactly are we here again?" I questioned as we pulled into the party city parking lot.
"To get masks for the Halloween party." Julia replied with a 'duh' tone.
"Do we really-"
"Yes. Yes, we do need the masks." She cut me off.
We stepped out of the car and went inside. I didn't really like any of the masks that Julia handed to me. I felt basic. Everyone just wears a nice/south dress on Halloween and wears a masquerade mask and boom, the ultimate costume.
"Juls, none of these even go w my dress."
I started to feel ansi and wanted to go home and just start getting ready."Why can't u just pick one?" She rolled her eyes.
"Cuz they're all ugly. Plus, I'm not wearing a black, purple, green, or blue with a white dress." I said, pointing to the only color opinions on the shelf.
"Ok good point." She sighed.
"I'm gonna go ask if they have anymore white ones in the back." I walked away.
**
"Hi, do u guys have anymore white masks?" I asked.
The lady at the desk smiled and went to the back room to check. She cane out with one pair.
"This is the only one left." She informed as she handed it to me.
'Wow' I thought. The glittery-gold gleamed when light hit it. Although it wasn't totally white, it was still perfect.
I thanked the worker and walked back over to Julia.
"Did they find- OMG ITS SO PRETTY!" She squealed, snatching it out of my hands. Her face made me laugh.
"Let's go pay for them so we can go get ready." I suggested. Julia agreed.
(2 hours later)
FaceTime call from 'Dante❤️😍🥰😘'
"Heeyy!" He made a silly face at the camera.
"Hiii babe," I said happily.
"Let me see ur beautiful faaace," whined. My camera was facing the ceiling.
"Sorry buddy, but I'm getting my makeup done right now I want it to be a ~surprise~."
He rolled his eyes at the screen and groaned. "Fine."
"What are you doing right now?" I asked.
