Things had certainly changed. Not that they hadn't already, but this time, the change didn't happen to the people around her, it happened to her.

Lisa had changed.

She knew that when things suddenly felt foreign, alien. It was like an emotion of something different yet exciting at the same time.

She first noticed the change just as when she woke up that cold Saturday morning, the day where she and Jennie would host a dinner for the newly engaged couple, Chaeyoung and Jisoo.

She woke up that morning snuggled at the crook of Jennie's neck, arms wrapped around Jennie's waist, legs tangled on Jennie's legs, her lips inches away from Jennie's breast. Basically, her sleeping position was slightly under Jennie, and even in that instant where sleepiness and consciousness were fighting inside her head, she could still figure out that she, in fact, had certainly changed because it was in the way how she reacted to the sleeping Jennie beside her, she wasn't angry or tried to get away, instead, she found herself snuggling more to Jennie's warmth. She felt too comfortable. Too safe. A feeling that she hadn't felt for a long time ever since her early months with Irene.

Jennie woke up some minutes after Lisa when the Thai finally forced herself to sit up and stretch her arms and legs for blood circulation. Jennie gave her a peck on the cheeks as the brunette stood beside her. Lisa was surprised and the blush on her cheeks couldn't be contained which made Jennie chuckle.

"Good morning, love."

Lisa tried not to stutter as she avoided Jennie's teasing gaze. "Good morning."

"How was your sleep?"

It was good. Great, even. But Lisa wouldn't admit that.

"It's okay." She replied. "I didn't know we fell asleep on the couch."

"Yeah, I had to get up at four am because we left the tv on."

They had another movie time last night. Jennie kept insisting that she wanted to watch Home Alone with her, she even made some popcorn and sparkling water because she knew Lisa couldn't resist that. Although Lisa had seen the movie million times and that she was tired last night, she still managed to sit beside the brunette on the couch. She didn't remember how but she must have dozed off soon after that, maybe Jennie too.

"Are you hungry?"

Lisa nodded at the questions. Jennie chuckled again and muttered something like cute before going towards the kitchen to prepare some meal.

It was already late for breakfast so they only made some sandwiches and tea to fill in their stomach, instead.

Nothing much happened that afternoon except that Jennie added some decorations on their Christmas tree while Lisa was busy playing with Leo.

By the time the clock turned five, Lisa helped Jennie cook dinner. She was glad that the brunette's hips were now okay and her bruises started to fade away, meaning Jennie could finally move around as she did before.

It wasn't the first time that Lisa helped Jennie cook, but it was the first time that she felt quite happy to cook with her. She chopped, wash the dirty dishes, and even scratched Jennie's nose when she couldn't do it herself while cooking.

Those simple things felt very strange yet normal at the same time. Maybe it was because Jennie had been living with her for over a month and Lisa was just getting used to her presence, or maybe because of the way Jennie looked at her when they danced some nights ago, with her intense gaze and soft delicate touch.

"Is it too salty? I think it is too salty." Jennie said, her one hand on the spatula while the other was high up, her index finger on her mouth, licking and tasting the sauce that she had just made.
