Jennie woke up minutes before Lisa did, and in between those times, all she did was stare in awe at the blonde's beauty, tracing every line by her eyes and admiring the long curl lashes of the blonde.
It was a sight that Jennie wouldn't get tired of, and if she was only given another chance to wake up every single day with this sleeping beauty, Jennie would probably be the luckiest woman in the world.
From the view of her apartment window, she could tell that it was only dawn, just hours after Lisa fell asleep on her shoulders while they were watching a movie in the living room.
It was ironic that Lisa was the one who insisted that she and Leo won't stay the night on Jennie's apartment and yet she dozed off even before the movie reached its climax.
Jennie liked to think that falling asleep and snuggled on the couch was their thing. It was an intimate moment between the two and it was something she'd like to get used to.
Lisa snored softly as one of her arms rested on Jennie's lap while the other was in between their sides. It was an uncomfortable position, but Jennie didn't mind even when her arms were already tingling. She laid still on the couch, breathing steadily as she held the blonde.
It was a moment that Jennie didn't expect to happen again. Even when Lisa agreed to stay with her throughout the day was surprising.
But their day together was rather uneventful because Lisa was still quiet and reserved, and Jennie was still the one who did most of the talking.
They didn't mention Ji-eun or even about the service person program, those subjects were sensitive, or maybe they were the ones who were sensitive, but nonetheless, they didn't go that far. They mostly talked about the simple things. The food, Rosie and Jisoo's wedding, about their "kids", and even Lisa's favorite song out of all the ones that she had written.
"It's called the best part, but I haven't properly recorded it yet."
"Why not?"
"I'm still waiting for the right time, I guess. I just... I don't want to waste a good song and I don't want to share it with just anyone."
"Can I hear it?"
"I... I don't think so. I only want to sing to someone who is very special to me."
The hopeful look on Jennie's face fell in that moment as Lisa's words cut through her heart, but she could only force herself to smile and gulped back down her tears.
It was after dinner when Lisa told her multiple times that she'll get home after the movie ended, even resisting to Jennie's offer to stay the night in her apartment.
And so when the blonde fell asleep on her shoulder that night, quietly snoring and her hair falling on her face, Jennie only shook her head, giggling at the adorable sight.
Soon after, Jennie followed the blonde in a peaceful slumber, but only to be woken up hours after when dawn arrived.
Lisa stirred, turned, and groaned. Her eyes moving fast under her closed eyelids.
Jennie immediately tapped her shoulder, trying to wake her up in a soft manner as she called her name.
"Irene, no!" Suddenly, Lisa gasped as her eyes opened in shock and cold sweat was running down on her face.
"Shhh, baby, it's just a dream. Calm down." Jennie softly hushed the blonde, her hand caressing Lisa's back like an assurance that everything would be fine.
"I... I'm sorry." Lisa sobbed.
"It's okay Lisa there's nothing to be sorry for."
"I.. I did something terrible, Jennie. I can feel it."
