Harry

I've been able to spend time practicing which was nice and quite convenient since Ester can see all the dedication I really do like to put forward into boxing. Boxing helped me a lot, it helped me manage my anger in many ways, I grew up with major anger issues and even went to a therapist for it. Since I started boxing at around 11 years old, it's been pretty managed.

"Harry uppercut! Head down! Uppercut!" Ester said running our practice drills.

"And... stop!" Ester says once his timer rings. I stood with my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath. I adjusted my bandanna back properly on, and rushed to get a sip of water.

"No! Don't drink too much water, I don't want you to throw up!" Ester warns and I groan considering I was still very thirsty.

"Alright go get a jump rope and I'll be right back," Ester says going into the gym storage closet.

I nod wondering what he was getting from there. I looked for the jump ropes where they usually are but didn't find them. I made my way to Ester to find him opening bottles of medicine in the storage closet. Afraid to ask, I walked away and pretending to be looking for a jump rope before he came.

"Harry did you find a rope?!" Ester asks me from across the gym, I stumble upon my words since I was still confused at why he had pills in a gym storage closet and my mind seemed to only be thinking of that. Ester never takes medicine, I remember him having a 102 degree fever and still refusing to take medicine.

"Not yet!" I tell him and he furrows his eyebrows.

"Are they not where they usually are?" I nod 'no' and he goes to look around the gym.

"Here!" He throws a worn rope at me which I let fall to the ground and then pick up.

"I need at least 200 and you can call it a day," I nod relived, today was a hard day of practice and I really want to take it easy for the rest of the day.

"Hey Harry," I smile to myself when I hear Rosie's voice through the phone.

"Hey how are you?" I ask her squinting my eyes to see if the girl across me is Delia.

"I'm good, I'm actually really happy one of my favorite cousins is coming to visit because he has a boxing match here," I look at who I've confirmed is Delia waving her hand at me.

"That's great, uhh... let me call you back in a second," I say pretending I've heard what Riche said.

"What is it?" I ask Delia as she approaches me.

"Tell Rosanna I said thank you, Connor and I are back together," she's smiling as she speaks.

Delia has always been my best friend and I've never seen her have feelings for anyone besides me, it's interesting to see her this found of one person.

"That's great Delia," I smile at her and at that moment it hit me how hard our friendship has changed since I started dating Rosie.

"Thank you," she hugs me, and it reminds me of the great friend I always knew I had.

"You're very welcome and it's gonna be hard for me to accept that you are with Connor for now, but I'll get used to it, we've been growing on each other...I hope," I tell her with a slight smile.

"That's great and I really do understand," she pats my shoulder and walks away.

"Hey Delia!" I stop her.

"Huh?" She asks.

"You know you're like a sister to me right?" She gives a thankful smile and nods.
