Lacey Monroe
I woke up to sunlight peaking through the window blinds. I got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom to get ready. When I was done, I went over to my phone and looked online to the 'Missing Children's' report. I was still ranked high on the list. I don't know when they'll give up. I'm never coming back.
I got up again and walked over to the door, slipping on my shoes while grabbing my purse and keys in the process. I walked out of my low budget apartment, getting into my rental car. I decided that since I'll be staying here for awhile, I should tour the city. I'm not exactly sure where I'm going, but the road signs should be useful enough.
After awhile of driving, I finally came to a stop. I was pretty hungry, so I decided to just stop for a bite first. The electric pizza sign grabbed my attention, making me crave some. I walked up to the door and went to the cashier.
"Hi. Welcome to Eatza My Pizza. What can I get for you?" The bored teenager behind the counter said while gesturing to the sign behind him like I was incapable of finding it myself. "Um, just a small Pepperoni pizza I suppose." He wrote it down like he wouldn't be able to remember my simple order. "Will that be all?" He yawned. I nodded my head and walked over to a table rolling my eyes.
When my pizza came, I ate it quickly. I didn't really want to be in this place anymore with the boy awkwardly watching me. When I was done, I walked over and payed for it. Right as I was about to leave he stopped me. My heart started pounding rapidly. He couldn't know anything, right? He was just a regular teenager. "You uh forgot your phone." I turned my head towards the table I was sitting at and sure enough saw it.
I thanked him and hurried out of there. Getting into my car, I sighed, putting my head in my hands. I need to stop being so paranoid. I came here for peace and if I keep assuming the worst, it'll never happen. Starting up my car again, I drove around till I found something appealing to explore.
I finally came to the city's mall, getting out and going inside. It's so huge and beautiful. Made out of glass and some other materials, I suppose. I shopped around for awhile, purchasing things for myself once in awhile. After an hour or so, I decided I was done and went back to my car. Going home, I noticed a huge billboard with 4 people's faces on it, saying "Welcome home 5 Seconds of Summer! We've missed you!" One face in particular caught my attention.
He had blonde hair that was quiffed up, and blue eyes from what I could see. He definitely was attractive, to say the least. I guess they're a band. I don't really keep up with this stuff anymore.
That night when I went to bed, I found myself thinking about that boy again. I'm not even sure why. All I know is that he had me mesmerized and I don't find this feeling going away anytime soon.
(A/N: I hope you're enjoying this so far.. Have a great day!)
