late night talks

„Dont let Olivias words get to you", Ben calmly said and stood next to and joined me staring into the wide black scheme.
I took s deep breath and closed my eyes. I was freezing, but the light pain felt good.
„Im trying. But shes really going on my nerves snd I feel like I cant hold it in any longer", I complained and waved around with my hands.
„You donr have to! Do whats best for you. You dont need to be her best friend", Ben said and rubbed my back, just like Ruel did.
„Thank you Ben", I whispered and leaned into his chest until we both got cold and returned inside. It felt good to talk to someone about it.

„Ill get ready for bed", I yawned to myself and saw that the clock just turned 9pm.
Everyone was already ready to rest, Nate snored on the couch, Michelle on the first bed.
Ben was sitting on his bed watching youtube and almost fainting while doing so, Olivia slept in the bed in front of me.
I kept on my sweats and put on a lose shirt quickly so no one could see me change.
I threw my hair into a messy bun and brushed my teeth.
As I just wanted to crawl up to my bed a voice stopped me: „Claudi, can we talk?"
I stopped in shock as I realized Ruel was standing right behind me in the small bus.
Hopefully he doesnt want to talk about Jacob. Or about Olivia.
My face heated up but to not seem so nervous I put on a fake smile and followed him into his room. I sat on the edge of the bed and he said across of me on the small couch.
„Whats up?", I worried and was scared for an answer. „I just wanted to say sorry. I never texted or called you the past months and I really missed you. But I thought you maybe had to do better", he mumbled and fiddled with his hair tie on his left wrist switching it to the right.
I was so relieved, and even glad that he felt the same way.
„I didnr text you either Ruel. You were busy with tour so I didnt want to disturb you", i chuckled and as he heard my words he immediately looked up. „You dont ever disturb me! I could talk to you all the time, everywhere!", he emphasized and sat next to me.
After a small period of silence he mumbled: "I was just so scared that we are not gonna be the same anymore" 
I couldnt help but smile widly at him. "Oh Ruel!", I admired and embraced him in a hug. He happily replied with swining his arms tightly around my waist.I rubbed the back of his head, just like I always do and he even once confessed to me that this makes him calm down. 
"I think Ill go to sleep now", I whispered while we were still hugging. He slowly embraced and and had his usual, cute smiled on his face. "Sleep well Claudi! Im here if you need anything, anytime", he soothed and sat back on his bed. "You too Ruel", I whispered, stood up and closed the door behind me.
