Ok I'm done with the past. Also I got some ideas so we good. You can still suggest stuff tho. Anyways, I an getting tired with the stuff that happened to them in the past. You've probably had enough backstory, right? So we're going to the future. And not just present day either. (By that I mean when the show takes place) I'm tired with young characters. I don't like writing this. "Then why'd you do that?" I hear you say. Because backstory. That's why. Anyways, I like writing about older characters. Normally, I write with characters around 16ish. But for moderation, and to not go too far in the future, how's 12 for True? My headcannon is that Zee is a year older then her, so he's 13. In this chapter he'll have his 13th birthday. Oooooooooooof this was a long before note. Anyways, let's actually write the story. I promise it won't be this long of a intro next time.

(This gonna sound like above but it's not. The narrator is self aware. ) You know, talking about how they met and what they did after is fun and all, but it's getting boring. Cuz like, they were really young and like, stupid.  ( •Д•) YES I do use like a lot when I talk. Anyways let's go to the future!!!! To when True is 12. This is after the show. At this point, the Rainbow Kingdom and the Land of Electrical Marvel (Yes I made that up) decided that they wanted to do a fusion dance. So now the Rainbow Kingdom has modern technology. As you could probably tell from the show, there aren't a lot of humans. I don't know why, but my guess is that they're hard to animate or something. Anyways, LEM, which is the short name for the Land of Electrical Marvel's, has the same thing. And that's where my original character comes in. His name is Leon, and he's just a person. There is literally nothing special about. Just like me. And also he's Zee's best friend now. He's not very important. Also, phone are still just phones, and YouTube exists in this world. Oh and wattpads there I guess. Anyways, we find True on her phone looking at the checklist Grizelda had sent.  Tomorrow was Zee's 13th birthday, and all of his friends were helping to set up a surprise party. It was going to be at True's house. She was just looking, because she was going to be the person who would keep him away from the party until it started. Because, who gets invited to their own party? That's dumb. Then he'd know what's up and not be surprised. True didn't know why she was looking at the checklist, something just told her to do it. She didn't know what, it just did. After doing that pointless task, she closed that checklist and opened a different one. It had all her chores on it. It was shared between her and Bartelby so they could know who did what chores. Bee had already finished all of his, so True got ready to do hers. About half an hour later, she was finally done. As she sat down to rest, she thought about what she could do with Zee tomorrow. Normally, Leon (oh I guess he actually is useful for story) would take Zee to do stuff on his birthday, but they had been fighting over some rocks or something, and Leon didn't wanna do it this year. What a stupid thing to fight over. She thought for a bit, then was sure of what to do. She would let Zee pick where to go because it was his birthday. She got bored of just sitting there, so she got her phone and played a game. She would've played a game with Bartelby, but he was sleeping. Eventually, she got tired and went to sleep too. The next day she got up earlier then usual, because Zee did too and didn't want to miss him. Quickly, she got dressed in a simple blue dress with black pants. Let's just say her style has changed a bit. Then she made breakfast for Bartelby, and called Zee. "Hello?" He asked over the phone.
"Hey Zee. I just wanted to tell you Happy Birthday, and ask if maybe we could go somewhere or something? You can pick, just don't come to my house." She answered.
"Well, normally me and Leon would do stuff on our birthdays, but since he stole my rock, I'm kinda mad at him, so yeah sure."
"Great! I'll meet you at you house in about 10ish minutes. Get your bike ready, we can't use Cumulo, she's sick."
"I don't know how a cloud can get sick but ok. See you in a few minutes."
"Bye Zee."
"Bye"
After that, True called Grizelda.
"Grizelda speaking. Did you do it?"
"Yeah. When do you think the party will be ready?"
"I'll just text you when it's ready."
"Ok, but I gotta go. I have to bike all the way to the wishing tree to get Zee. Bye."
"Bye"
They hung up, then True put on her socks and put her headband on, but left her hair down. She grabbed her shoes and helmet and got her bike from the yard and then went back because she forgot her bag. After she got it, she was ready to go and sped off to the wishing tree.
Meanwhile, Zee was already dressed and stuff, but he was making sure he had everything. He was also looking for more rocks. But he knew there would never be a better rock, and that he was dumb for even looking. After quieting those thoughts, he went over to the big mirror he had set up. Some people question why he has a mirror, but he just says the wishes like it. That's one of the reasons, but it's mostly there because he thought it was nice. He overlooked his outfit looking for anything wrong with it. He was wearing a t shirt that was the same shade of purple as his hair, with some normal jeans and boots. Like True, Zee's style has changed. But normally he does wear the clothes he does in the show. It's a uniform for the job. Ever since the fusion, everyone who worked in Rainbow Castle actually got paid and it was an actual job. They didn't have those big dinners anymore. It got pretty boring in Rainbow Castle, which is now called The Castle of the Mountain. He still called it Rainbow Castle tho. So did pretty much everyone. After making sure he had everything, he put his phone in his pocket and went down to the bottom of the slide thing that leads up to the tree to wait for True. A few minutes later, True shows up.
"Hey *pant* Zee. I'm here." She said, a little out of breath.
"Hi. Are you ok? You look tired." He responded.
"I'm fine. My house is just really far away so it takes a while to get there."
"I wish it wasn't. You haven't seen any houses for sale over there have you?" (Headcannon: lifespans are shorter, so people do things earlier in life. So 8 is 12 and 12 is 16. They also age faster physically.)
"Yeah, actually just across the street from me. Maybe we could check it out together sometime?"
"Well why not today?"
"They aren't quite done moving out."
"Ok. Have you eaten yet? I forgot to make breakfast."
"No, I haven't. You wanna go to that café?"
"Sure. You'll have to lead, I don't know the way. The only time I've been there I didn't pay attention to where me and my friend were going."
"Ok. Follow me!" (Yes, Zee has his helmet.) They rode on their bikes down to the café, where they are breakfast. And it was free cuz it was Zee's birthday. Yay free food! They did a bunch of other stuff, like ride through the park, look around at the market, cuz you never know what you'll find there, and just stuff until Grizelda texted telling them in was time to come to the party.
"Hey Zee. That stuff that was going on at my house is over, you wanna come over?"
"I don't know why we couldn't go there in the first place, but ok."
"Ok, race you!" Then she sped off toward her house. Zee followed after. True got there first. Then Zee came. Luckily, most of the party was inside, so he didn't think anything was up. Actually, he was paying more attention to the house across the street.
"Alright, I have a new security system that shines a bright light at people it doesn't recognize, and it won't recognize you. So close your eyes" True lied. (Oxymoron, huh.)
"Alright." He replied as he shut his eyes. They walked inside while True held a flashlight up to his face to make it seem like there actually was a security system and said the password, which was actually what made everyone jump out and yell surprise. Everyone was there, even Leon. They all had a fun time just playing party games and stuff, and Zee and Leon weren't mad at each other anymore, and Zee got his rock back. Everyone was happy. After everyone had left, Zee asked True if she wanted to do one last thing before they left eachother.
"Hey True?" He asked.
"Yeah?" She replied.
"I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go check out that new Farris wheel in town? It was actually the next thing I wanted to do, but then there was the party and stuff, so we couldn't."
"Yeah. We could do that. I wanted to as well." So they went to the theme park the town hall recently made and bought 2 tickets for the Farris wheel. There was a relatively long line, because the rainbow kingdom had never had anything like that before. Lem did, but not rainbow kingdom. When it was their turn, they gave the worker the tickets and got on the wheel.
"It's been a fun day." Zee said.
"It has, hasn't it?" True replied.
"Thank you. I haven't had this much fun since, well, forever. Everything has been so-" *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEL* *CLANK CLUNK* "Dear patrons, due to technical difficulties, the Ferris wheel has been temporarily shut down. For your safety, please stay calm and do not get out of the car. We will alert you if anything happens." Announced the worker. "We hope this does not affect your opinion of us. Thank you." There was some complaints but nothing serious.
"Woah. That was unfortunate. But look, we're at the very top Zee. At least that's nice."
"Yeah. As I was saying, life has just been so boring for me. Ever since the kingdoms merged, there have been the robot helpers, which do what you do. Help. They do that, then you don't need the wishes anymore. I am glad you do still come over a lot, but it isn't as often as before. You know how boring it is while the wishes are sleeping? I know you have a life too and stuff you need to do, and I'm sounding really needy and annoying, but it's driving me insane. And now, I'm not allowed to leave during the day unless it's my day off, of which I have few, or I'm given orders to do something. Yeah, I can go outside, but that's about it."
"Honestly, I'm pretty bored with my life too. But you have to cherish the time you can spend time with the people who are special to you. Right?"
"Yeah, you are right. Our time here is short, so we have to cherish what we have."
"Exactly. I knew you'd understand."
"You know, I've been thinking, maybe we could go on some sort of adventure sometime or something like what we used to do, or maybe travel somewhere or-"
"Zee."
"What?"
"There's another reason why you wanted to go here, isn't there?"
"What? No, of course not! Why would you think that? Am I acting weird? I bet it's cuz I'm acting weird, isn't it?"
"Zee. You talk a lot when you're nervous. What wrong?"
"There's nothing wrong, it's just that-"
"Zee. What's wrong?"
"Well, since you've forced my hand,  I'll just ask. It's a bit sudden, but, will you be my girlfriend?"
"What?"
"Will you be my girlfriend? I'm not saying it again."
"I, I didn't know you felt that way. I was just joking before. But if you're not then, I say-

And that's where I'm leaving this. You get a cliffhanger. I made this chapter really long because I've been gone for a long time. I hope this makes up for it. This literally took hours tho. LEM isn't cannon to the show, I just made it up so I had an excuse to have technology. Anyways, stay safe, stay warm, and don't talk to strangers. Bye!!!
