DEAD BODY/TALK OF BUG WARNING
The hall was suffocating, she had walked down it much time before, but this was different. The old theater had been broken into by some of Junko's followers, and out of luck, Kyoko had been put on the case. As she progressed into her past lover's second home a smell grew stronger. Kyoko had smelt it before, rotting flesh.
Her immediate thought was that the Remnants had killed someone so she pulled out her flashlight and pointed it around the hall looking for any sign of a corpse. But as the stage doors came closer nothing showed, and the only option was to go on stage. Just like the hall, the stage was pitch black, which wasn't as noticeable as the smell. Kyoko covered her mouth just as the stage lights came on and the corpse came into view. It was Sayaka Maizono. They dug her almost rotted corpse out of the ground and dressed it in her idol outfit. Maggots covered the girl who's blue hair was only patches on her head, and Kyoko screamed. This had broken the detective who only longed to hold the idol once more.
She just wanted to stay goodbye, like her, not a brainwashed husk. So that's what she did, she crawled over and held the corpse. Rotting skin and the organisms eating it fell on Kyoko as she sobbed holding Sayaka to her chest. " I'm so sorry! I couldn't save you, my love. Please forgive me, I'll always love you but I have to stop. I can't obsess over you for my whole life" The corpse didn't respond and Kyoko knew that was her cue to leave. so she slowly set the idol back on her stage for one last performance.
