Kyoko shut the door of her apartment and set her briefcase down. The small clicking of shoes slowly coming closer " Hello Sayaka, how was your day? did any of your sisters stop by?" " yes, Ibuki did we talked about the possibility Cles is awake." " is that a bad thing, I thought you loved all your sisters?" The doll sighed starting up at her median. " I do, I truly do. But if she's awake father won't want to wait much longer, and the Alice game will begin."
Kyoko stared at her golden ring, a sign of her connection to the 5th doll. " and what happens if the game begins?" " we will fight." The doll's words where hollow, voices of the fear that lingered in her chest. " let's not speak of that, would you like some tea?" The doll nodded and reached up for the detective in front of her, Kyoko smiled and gently picked her up. " Kyoko, have I told you about my last median?" Sayaka asked looking up. " no, you haven't." " he was a very mean man, mistreated me and locked me in my case a lot. But one day, he dropped me. And I attempted to break my fall. That is the reason my wrist is cracked. Father would never want a broken daughter, I will never be Alice, and I will never win the Alice game." Kyoko frowned. " don't say that! I don't want to think about you not being here."
Sayaka leaned on her median watching her make their tea. The rest of the night was silent until Sayaka went to bed, she gave Kyoko a kiss on the cheek and went to her case. And when Kyoko woke up the case and ring was gone and she was once again alone.
