The auctions. One of the things I hate the most. Kidnapping young girls and selling them to sick men for their own pleasure. Previously, I had already shut down this ring, but they managed to resurface, and so I'm here again, paying them another visit.
Right now, I'm going by the name of Nicholas Crispin, a sick bastard that I put a bullet into no less than fifteen minutes before I got here.
As I sneak through the building, killing any person that got in my way, whether sicko or guard.
Eventually, the outer guards are taken out, leaving for an easy escape for all the girls after I cut these lights.
But as I move through, I see something despicable, two girls, the youngest no more than three years old, she looks like Summer. She is holding on to the other girl, who appears to be six or seven, they are obviously related.
I gain my bearings, making sure there is nothing in between us.
I made eye contact with both of them, they looked at me with pleading eyes. I nodded at them, showed them my scroll, and cut the lights off.
I made a beeline toward them, putting my gun in its holster and grabbing their arms and running. On the way out, I called the police, the other girls will be freed for sure.
We reached my car and I put them in the back seat, buckling them up and shutting the door.
"Freeze!"
A police officer had his gun to the back of my head, but I wasn't about to give these two over to them.
I used my focus and hit him on the head with my baton, just knocking him unconscious. I climbed back into the car and started driving, leaving the area of the police search.
Driving toward home would take a while, but it was silent for the first twenty minutes. The oldest was the first to speak.
"M-Mister? Where are you taking us, are you taking us back home?"
Looking in the rear view mirror, she had a look of terror at the idea of going home.
"No, I'm taking you to my house. I'm not sure what to do with you two, but I'm not going to leave you there."
"Okay, I don't want to go back home."
"What? Why?"
"My daddy is really mean. He yells a lot."
"What was your daddy's name?"
"His name was Tai"
Jesus Christ. These are my step-daughters. It can't be a coincidence, right? The youngest one has a clear resemblance to my wife. Silver eyes, black and red hair?
"Hon, what are your names?"
"My name is Yang, and my sister is Ruby."
Yeah, they're my step-daughters.
"Why don't you two go to sleep? We've got a long road ahead of us."
They nodded and huddled together, I let out a small smile as I pulled over and took my coat off and put it over them.
Timeskip.
Reaching the house, the only light on was the bedroom light. Summer liked to read sometimes before bed, she would always wait for me to get home, as well.
I put my coat around my shoulders and woke Yang up, but Ruby refused to wake up, so I just picked her up.
We got to the front door and I looked at Yang.
"Hey, Yang. My keys are in my right pocket, can you get them out for me and unlock the door?"
She nodded and grabbed my keys and unlocked the door. We walked in and I heard Summer get up to greet me, but she stopped in her tracks as she saw her daughters, one next to me, and the other sleeping in my arms.
"Summer, we have an issue here."
