About ten minutes after Ozpin finished his speech, I got a message on my Scroll. Oz wanted me to come up to his office. I excused myself from my daughters and went up the elevator to get to his office.

I walked in without saying a word. He simply placed a file in front of me. I picked it up and opened it.

Joshua Kramer, thirty-eight. Receding hair, a goatee, and glasses. He's escaped police multiple times and has multiple human-trafficking charges.

I was seething. Ozpin knows that I hate human-traffickers, even more than a normal person. He knows that I found Ruby and Yang at one of the auctions.

Me: Ozpin, either you're showing this to me to piss me off, or you're showing this to me because you want him dead.

Ozpin: I'm showing this to you because you have a burning hatred for the auctions. You need not kill him, only make sure he gets arrested. But I won't fault you for any route you take.

I put the file in my coat and started walking to the door, speaking my mind the whole time.

Me: Ozpin. You should know that I don't grant mercy to scumbags like him.

I went down the elevator, but this time going to Summer's old dorm from Beacon, where I knew she would be by the end of the day. She needed to pack our things up, I offered to help, but she just gave me a smile and shoved me out the door, telling me to make sure our daughters make it to Beacon safely.

I'm not one to distrust my wife, I mean, she knows how much of a security freak I am. I have cameras placed all over the house to grant me an edge over any assassin that comes for me.

I decided that I would tidy up before she gets here, the room is definitely dusty.

Timeskip

I met with Summer at the landing pad, I borrowed a cart from the storage room to carry our stuff easier.

I helped her put our stuff on the cart. The whole process was done in complete silence. The second I placed the last suitcase on the cart, she slammed into me and hugged me.

Summer: I missed you! I feel like it's been like ten years since I've seen you!

Me: Sum, it's been less than twenty-four hours.

She gave me her infamous, yet irresistible pout. The one that nobody can resist.

Me: But yes, I missed you, too.

I kissed her head and squeezed her a bit to satisfy her lust for cuddles and affection, at least until we get to our room.

I grabbed the cart and started pulling it along with us. But I heard Ruby yell out suddenly.

Ruby: Mom!

Ruby slammed into her mother, knocking her back into me, forcing me to stop pulling the cart and catch them.

Ruby maneuvered herself so that it was a group hug between the three of us. Ruby values her family more than most do. I was expecting the girls to stop showing their love for us as they matured, but Ruby only became more attached to us. Yang tends to get embarrassed when Summer shows her affection, but that might be because Summer tends to yell out about how much she loves her, whereas I just leave it how it is.

Ruby finally let us breathe, and that was when Yang finally found us.

Yang: Ruby! Why are you strangling Mom and Dad?

Summer rushed over to Yang and hugged her, yelling about how much she loves her.

Yang: Mom, I haven't ever forgotten how much you love me. And I never will.
