Chapter 5: So Bethany...

"Shawn!" My moms voice yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
I rolled on my back and threw my sheets off me.
"Get up you have church!" I rubbed my eyes before slowly rolling to the edge of the bed.

Aaliyah ran in and stared at me.

"Oh, you're already up.." She quietly said, I gave her a look as she slowly backed out of my room.

I slowly rolled again but was taken by surprise as my back quickly hit the floor.

Aaliyah ran back in and started laughing her ass off.
I sat up, she ran out.

I stood up and shuffled to my dresser, pulling out a red flannel and jeans.
I stared horrified at my stuck up hair, I grabbed my grey beanie and threw it on before walking down stairs.

My phone beeped.

Bethany: Heyyy🙋🙈

I smiled and sat at the barstool.

Shawn: Hey👋
Bethany: What are u doing today?
Shawn: Im just heading to church🙏 u?
Bethany: Ntm, wanna maybe come over later?😏

My heart stopped for a second, a small smirk tugged at my lips.

Shawn: Sure😋
Bethany: K see ya later babe😘
Shawn: Byeee🙈

"Who ya texting?" Aaliyahs voice asked as she plopped down beside me, my smirk fell and I quickly locked my phone.
"No one" I mumbled keeping my eyes off her.
"Come on, who ya texting?" She chuckled and reached for my phone, before I could pull it away she jumpped off her stool and ran up the stairs, my phone lit up in her hand.

"AALIYAH!" I shouted stumbling quickly off the stool and stomping up the stairs.

I burst into her room, she was sprawled out on her bed with a smirk plastered on her face.

"So Bethany.." She said, her eyebrows moved up and down quickly.
I rolled my eyes and ran my hand over my face.
"Please don't tell mom" I begged, she took a deep breath.

"Secret girlfriends" She mumbled, it was her turn to roll her eyes.
I was still standing there with a small pout.

"Ugh fine" She groaned annoyed tossing me my phone.
"Thanks" I sighed walking out, her voice stopped me.

"Only if you'll drive me to wherever I wanna go..forever" She said proudly.
"Forever?" I questioned.
"Till you break up with this Bethany girl anyway" She said crossing her arms.
"Fine, fine whatever" I said before quickly closing her door.
