~~~~~~~~~~~~~~My friends and I always stop by our lockers before class.
"Ugh I hate physics" Eva complained.
"It's not that bad. It's just a bunch of math" Kiki countered.
"That's the whole point. I hate math as well." She said with a duh look.
I laughed at them. They are always disagreeing on simple things.
We walked down to our class and took our usual seats in the back. Even though Kiki is a nerd she says she can still get all the info she needs from the back.
"So are you guys coming to my game tonight?" I asked them.
"Of course we are it's the last one of the season" Kiki exclaimed.
"And I just love sports so I'll be there" Eva said with a smile.
"Oh so you're not coming because of me?" I asked in a mocking voice.
Eva looked down obviously not getting my joke.
"Umm well... Yeah you're my friend so..."
My and Kiki burst out laughing.
"I was just kidding I know you love me Eva" I said between laughs, pretending to wipe tears from my eyes.
"Oh whoops" Eva blushed. Making me and Kiki laugh even harder if that was possible.
The bell rang and the teacher walked in telling the class to calm down.
He then go things started. It's a Wednesday so he just gave us a packet to work on in groups for the rest of class. He's one of the more lazy teachers in this school.
We finished the packet rather quickly so we could spend the rest of class talking.
"So I hear there's a party after your game tonight" Kiki said looking at me.
I shrugged. I'm not really into high school parties. It's just a drunken grind fest. "Yeah it's an end of season thing"
"We should totally go" Eva cheered "I bet everyone's gonna be there."
"I don't think so you guys know I'm not big on parties" I complained.
"What are you talking about don't you have to go since your on the team anyway?" Kiki asked.
"Half the school doesn't even know I play why would it matter. They won't notice I'm gone." I muttered.
"Well I still think we should go it'll be fun. Even if she stays home" Eva said pointing at me not so subtly.
"Fine I'll go. It's better than being left at home without my friends."
"That's the spirit" they said in unison.
The bell rang signaling the end of class. We gathered our things together and headed out.
We each parted our separate ways. I had calculus. While Kiki and Eva had English. Different teachers though.
We promised to meet up at our usual spot for lunch.
I stopped by my locker quick exchanging my books and notebooks.
I spotted Carly in the hallway and talked to her for awhile.
"I'm guessing you're going to the party" she said.
I sighed. "Yes I am" the warning bell rang signaling 2 minutes left till class "I'll see you there?"
"Yeah."
