We sat there for some time having a stare down. His face was a blank sheet not showing anything. Mine was the same since I spent years trying to hide everything.

I had never really paid close attention to him before. His face looked aged with stress. He had blonde hair that you could run your fingers through and mesmerizing grey blue eyes. He had a strong jaw and you could see alittle stuble on his face. Anyone could see that he was built. His plain white t-shirt was slightly stretched my his muscles. He was strong looking but not overly buff to look bad.

If he hadn't taken me away from home, killed my father, and was my boss, I'd say he's pretty hot. Hell who am I kidding, he looks like a god. Although I would never let him know that. It would only inflate his already big head and give home something to tease me about.

I wasn't sure how long we sat there but it felt like forever. I was the first one to break the silence since I was bored with it.

"So why am I the only one here? I though it was a group training session." I personally thought that was a reasonable question.

"I actually wanted to talk to you. Just you." He said a smirk playing on his lips. I could feel fear creeping inside my but I was sure not to let him see it.

"Why would you want to talk to me? Aren't I just some girl you took." I said with bitterness. But even saying that was a lie. He knew me, my family, everything probably.

"You're quite the opposite actually. I'm sure you already know the connection I have to your family." I scoffed unamused. Did he want me to hit him? No that I would, I'm not that stupid. He would kill me without a second thought if I provoked him too far.

"Yes, you killed my father how could I not know. And by the way I hate you for that, just cause he might've pissed you off doesn't give you the right to kill him. He had a family you know. My mom doesn't even talk to me now because of it. And why didn't you take my brother, he would be a hell of a lot better than me." By the end of my mini rant I was out of breath. I wanted to say more but I held my tongue for good reason.

He didn't say anything just stared at me again. He looked me up and down which made me slightly uncomfortable.

"You wouldn't understand. Not now anyway. You'd think I was lying." He said not really showing much care to the subject. What a jerk.

"Try me I can be more understanding than you may think."

"Ok. My gang didn't kill your father-" he didn't get to finish his sentence because I cut him off.

"Bullshit." I said blankly. How could that be.

"One, don't interrupt me, ever." He gave me a warning look before continuing, "As I was saying it wasn't me. He got himself into trouble with other people besides me. My gang actually offered him protection but we didn't put our forces into action fast enough to save him."

"Oh. Well I guess I can belive that. But then how do I work into your little plan?"

He leaned back in his chair studying me. "Well nothing comes for free these days as you might know. Your father received  protection and in turn promised us two things. The key to his vault... and you."

That last word made my blood run cold. My face paled and I sat there still. My dad, the guy who I used to love so much, promised me off to this man!
