Frank checked the time and sighed. Fifteen more minutes.

Wandering out into the corridor, the fluorescent lights above Frank flickered. "That's not creepy at all," Frank muttered to himself.

Frank continued to the lounge and leant against the wall. The lights overheard still flickered consistantly.

"Hello."

Frank yelled in shock and turned to find a teenage girl with purple hair standing behind him. "Jesus Christ, you scared me."

She studied Frank, a small smile on her lips. "I'm Nadia."

"Frank." Frank walked toward her. "What are you doing out of bed?"

She glanced around the room and shrugged. "Just wandering."

Frank nodded. He wondered to himself what her deal was. Nadia caught his aze and raised her eyebrows.

"I'm here for a damn good reason," she said defensively.

"I like your hair," Frank said distractedly.

Nadia raised a hand to flatten her bright hair. "Thanks, man. I like your whole style" she laughed, gesturing to my tattooed arms and the holes were my piercings should be.

An absent smile plays]ed around her lips. "I've always wanted angel bites. I'll get them when I'm older." She glanced around the room. "When I'm out of here."

Frank started to lead her back to the rooms. "Time for bed, okay?"

Frowning, she shrugged off Frank's hand and walked off to her door. She went inside and called goodnight to Frank before the door closed.

When Frank's heading back, he bumps into Bob.

"Hey, Bob. YOu know what Nadia's got, yeah?"

Bob frowned. "Yeah...why?"

"What's she here for?" Frank asked slowly, glancing back down the hall.

"She likes to think herself as a vampire. Complete with tearing out innocent people's throats. She's been diagnosed as 'criminally insane'. Stacey's goota make sure she don't kill anyone else," Bob said carefully.

Bob suddenly smiled and lightly punched Frank's arm. "Dude, you'll be fine. She hasn't gotten mad in, like, weeks."

"Good to know," Frank said. "Look, I gotta go. I got off a couple minutes ago. See you tomorrow."

He scurried past Bob without a second glance and went straight home.
