Song: Unexpectedly - Jason Chen

"No matter who you are or what you are, there's only one thing I'm sure about; I still love you..."
~ A Nutcracker's Wish

Frisk sat down on one of the corner of the room. She silently cried as she sat down. She was held in prison by the Evil King and was supposed to meet him later on.

Frisk couldn't help but feel ashamed and scared. Ashamed because she couldn't keep her promise with Sans on helping him find the princess and defeat the Evil King. Scared because she coildn't believe she could be held captive at the Evil King's prison. She  always plays the role of a hero, helping out people in need. But here she was, now playing the damsel in distress. She couldn't help but feel down of herself.

"I'm so pathetic..." She slumped down and cried. Gerson had dropped her inside for a while now and left a Doggo to guard the prison chamber. She couldn't do anything.

"Psst." Frisk heard as she looked up from where the sound is coming from. She crawled toward the cell bars and peek to see a small monster, looking at her.

She wiped her tears and smiled weakly at them. "H-hey.. You needed something?" She asked as the little monster just jumped.

"What is a star?" They asked as Frisk tilted her head. She was going to answer the little teardrop-shaped monster but was cut of by them.

"Can you touch it? Can you eat it?... Can you kill it?..." Once again, Frisk was going to answer but was already cut off by them as they look at her.

"Are you star?" They asked as Frisk went silent. She was going to answer but was cut off once more, not by the little monster but by a twinkling sound.

She glanced up and saw a star. The North Star, shining brightly at her. Her thoughts were drifted a back to all the memories she had spend with Font, or Sans, as well as the promise she made.

"You know, I still can't believe that Font the Nutcracker was actually Prince Sans himself. I don't know if I should be  happy, surprised, scared or honored." She giggle as Sans chuckled beside her.

"I don't know about you, but I'm happy to open up my real identity to you. I don't need to pretend to be another person in front of you when I wanted to show you who I really am. Like hiding behind a mask or something. Not because that I'm the prince and the son of the King but as... you know, me." He said, glancing at Frisk who look back at him.

The two stared at each which felt like an eternity before the two blushed, looking away from one another but shared a laugh.

"I have to be honest with you sweetheart. I never had this fun ever in my life. Besides spending time with my brother. Meeting you was the best thing that had happened to me. And I don't regret a single thing." Sans admitted, placing his large wooden hand on top of Frisk's delicate one. She blushed before smiling at him genuinely.

"I'm happy with that. Thank you," She said, intertwining her fingers with his. Sans smiled as he scooted closer to Frisk.

"I would like to spend more time with you like this, but with me being in a curse and stopping my own father, I just wished things weren't like this." He said with a sigh.
