I stared at Jungkook blankly.

"I-"

"I was joking Y/N, calm downnn"

He giggled for bit and then stared at me.

"What is it? Is there something on my face?"

Jungkook shook his head.

"No, it's just been so long since I've seen you, this is kind of shaking me up I suppose..."

That's odd coming from Jungkook. Him? Shaken up? No way.

"Oh, that's unlike you."

He looked away for a moment.

"I'm sorry...If I'm making you uncom-"

I stopped Jungkook in the middle of his sentence.

"Hush. You're not making me uncomfortable."

It went silent for a minute until Jungkook continued.

"Happy late birthday by the way, I didn't get you anything because I didn't know you'd be here, so I apologize."

It makes me smile knowing that he remembered my birthday.

I was kind of hoping that he'd remember the little thing like this.

"Oh, you remembered."

Jungkook rubbed the back of his head, looking down.

"So anyways, how is everyone back at home?"

Ah.

Back at home.

Thinking about it now already hurts. It's only been a day, and I already miss everyone more than ever. Jimin, Taehyung, Mom....Yoongi.

I told myself before I left I wasn't going to let it get to me. I wasn't going to care about any of them once I was gone.

"They're alright."

I was trying my best to hold back tears.

The tremble in my voice was so obvious, I could tell by the look in Jungkook's eyes.

"Something wrong, Y/N?"

I shook my head.

It wasn't that anything was wrong, it was just the fact that I wasn't sure when the next I'd see any of them would be. Especially since Yoongi had plans to move abroad.

Yup. Min Yoongi plans to move to the states later on this year and he couldn't even tell me.

The night before I left for Seoul, Jimin had pulled me aside to tell me about his plans.

It stung so much, that not even him of all people could tell me, and instead it was Jimin.

How could that man ask to be with me forever when we BOTH know how unlikely it is we'll meet again.

I felt betrayed deep down, but I was trying so hard to look past it.

Someone I had been with for such a long period of time, had to hide something so important from me. God knows what else he couldn't tell me by the time I left.

I was drowning in my thoughts before Jungkook waved his hand in front of my face.

"Sorry, just thinking."

A worried expression appeared on Jungkook's face.

"Missing everyone, huh?"

I nodded in response.

I wasn't really sure what else there was to say. It was all so hard to talk about. I'd honestly rather hear about everything going on with Jungkook. Though he's told be a majority of it.

"Have you heard from your dad?"

I asked, trying not to sound too intrusive.

"Uhh, barely. Sometimes he'll message me though if he's seen some little thing in the papers or on TV about me. Only when he thinks i've made it big, or whatever."

Jungkook rolls his eyes.

"He's still the same asshole he's always been, and in my current situation, he won't be getting any success phone call anytime soon. Honestly, even if I did make it, Y/N, I'd never let that man know."

I felt bad. Jungkook's dad had always treated our entire family poorly, and thinking about him to this day disgusts me.

and with that, the check came to our table, and we finished off our meals before paying and leaving.

I was already feeling kind of tired, and it was only 4 pm. Jungkook and I had strolled to a nearby park in Seoul and stopped for a bit to look at the scenery.

"It's so pretty here

"It's so pretty here."

I looked around at my surroundings, and Jungkook smiled.

"Yeah, I come here quite a lot. One of my favorite places actually."

I decided to sit down on a bench, and Jungkook joined me.

"So you'll come to the show later on?"

I figured if I had gone back to my apartment for a bit to take a nap, maybe I'd be able to make it.

"Of course, but I'll probably head back soon to rest up and then get ready if that's alright."

Jungkook nodded and offered to walk me back.

It was approaching dark by the time we got back, and I had spotted the guy I had met earlier today, Jin.

I waved in his direction, but he seemed to be occupied with a group of people.

"Wonder what he's up to." I said before entering my room.

Jungkook looked over at Jin.

"Oh, Jin? You know him?"

I nodded.

"Yeah, you two familiar with each other?"

Jungkook looked back at me.

"Yeah, we talk sometimes, or whatever. Anyways, I better get back to practice, I don't wanna make a fool of myself when i perform."

Jungkook giggled and I gave him one last smile before heading in.

"See you in a bit!"
