This is just a one shot that I wrote. I still have to write the 3rd part of Sword fight which I will try to do soon. Sorry it's been such a long time since I've updated!

Rory POV

It was a beautiful spring day, my exams for school were finally over, and I was now busy helping one of the new characters learn to use a sword. It was a normal day at EAS, oh well beside the fact that Chase was ignoring me.

I glanced over him from across the room at him he caught my eyes for a moment and then quickly looked away. He was helping a new seventh grader, Finn, with sword fighting. I didn't know why Chase was mad at me. He had just suddenly stopped talking to me yesterday afternoon.

"Hey Rory, is this how you do it?" I shook myself out of my trance and looked over at Liam, a new ninth grader at EAS. He executed a series of hits and thrusts against the goblin dummy we were using.

Liam had only been going to EAS for a few weeks, yet he seemed to master each sword movement almost instantly. I felt a feeling of pride at how well he was doing. He was much better than the other new kids at EAS. One of them was Larry, a tenth grader, who seemed to be hitting himself with the sword more than the dummy. Luckily he was just using a wooden practice sword, but still. Liam had already improved so much and I had been the one to teach him.

"Great job!" I congratulated him, "You'll probably be ready to move up to some of the bigger dummies soon."

"Really? Like the dragon's!" He said enthusiastically.

"Umm maybe eventually. The next step would probably be ice griffins or fey," I responded.

"Oh well that's cool too," he said, grinning. I was about to tell him how much he had improved, but was cut off by Hansel.

"Rory, Chase, come over here!" He shouted over the sound of swords clashing on metal.

"Liam, you ok on your own?" I asked. He nodded and I gestured for the dummy to attack again. When I was finally able to weave my way through all the characters and dummies I reached the front of the class, where Chase was already standing with Hansel.

"What's up?" I asked Hansel.

"I want you two to go find the old enchanting training swords," Hansel said casually, "We haven't had to use them in years, but I'm afraid some people are in desperate need of them." He pointedly glared at Larry, who's small dummy was hitting him vigorously with a metal stick, while Larry had his hands over his head, and wasn't even attempting to use the sword.

"Um ok. Where are they?" Chase asked.

"One of the storage closets," Hansel said, "Just go into the door you would take to get to the apartments. Then go right, left, right, right, left, down the staircase, straight, and finally left. They'll be in the green door." stared at him open mouthed. Did he expect us to remember all that?

"Can you repeat that?" I asked, glancing over at Chase to see what he thought. He was still pointedly avoiding my gaze.

"Shouldn't only one of us go? It's not like we really need two people to get a sword," Chase said bluntly. I cringed at his words, wondering what I had done to make him so mad at me.

"You're going to need to bring the whole rack. There are others here who need them, so hurry up," Hansel said dismissively.

"Wait Can you repeat the instructions again?" I asked.

"Just figure it out. Now hurry up and go!" He said and walked away from me and Chase.

"Ok then..." I said to no one in particular.
