I woke up, sore back there, but nonetheless happy. Utterly happy.

Like the morning before, P'Finn woke before me, caressing my cheeks and planting kisses on my face. I opened my eyes just after he stole a kiss on my lips.

"Morning, love."

"I can get used to this," I said back.

"You have to," he told me.

"But..." I paused, unable to voiced out my worry and fear over him leaving soon and going back to the capital. He had work there and I knew he wouldn't be staying for long.

"Baby?" His brows furrowed as he held me close.

"I-I'll go take a shower." I hurriedly pulled away from him but he stopped me before I could hopped off the bed.

"Hey," P'Finn said softly as he wrapped his arms around him. "Talk to me."

"It's nothing, P'Finn..."

"No. Tell me, please?"

"It's no-- "

A knocking at the door made me stop. "Finnegan? Brandy? You guys up yet?" Aunt Gianna's voice came from outside. "We have to prepare for the guests. Hurry up!"

People would be flooding this house by lunch time. Friends. Relatives from all over. It was going to be very busy.

"Be right right down, mother!" P'Finn turned to me and held my hand, squeezing on my palm gently. "Let's talk about this later, okay?"

"Y-Yeah..."

P'Finn and I got ourselves busy helping his parents entertain the guests coming in and out of the house. My sisters and France did the same.

My parents came right around the people slowly dissipated. I couldn't even look at them in the eye when they came. They could easily read me and know that I was hiding something. It didn't help that P'Finn kept stealing glanced at me. Of course I wouldn't know if I wasn't doing the same.

"Phi!" My heart jumped when he suddenly grabbed me into the bathroom downstairs while everyone was having a chat at the table.

"Just one kiss." That was the only warning he gave me before devouring my mouth. I heard muffled voices outside and that's when I pushed him away.

He smirked at me, planted a kiss on my forehead before leaving me in the bathroom.

"Stupid P'Finn."

"What's this story I heard that you got a young man courting you, kiddo?" My father's question almost made me choke on a piece of mango from my mango float.

The whole family was in the backyard under the tent. We were all relaxing after a busy day. A wave of teases rained my way because of my father's words.

"Am I going to have three sons-in-law instead of one daughter-in-law, buddy?" Dad added later.

"You'll have one daughter-in-law from me, Dad," Armina chimed. Everybody turned her way except for our mother and Aria.

"Not in another eight years, sweetheart," our mother quipped. Now everyone was teasing her except P'Finn and I. He winked at me when our eyes met. I stopped eating before I could really choke.

"Back to you, son." Dad looked at me expectantly.

"Yeah. Tell us about Phillip, Brandy," aunt Gianna drawled.
