I woke up to a hand caressing my lips followed by a kiss landing on my forehead. I opened my eyes and P'Finn's smile greeted me.
What a beautiful dream.
"Morning, baby."
"M-Morning..." I croaked. So, it wasn't a dream?
He smiled before he pulled me in for a cuddle, burying my face in his chest. It was beating fast. "Mom's making me help with the preparation for tomorrow's feast, but I want to tag along with you and Dad."
It made me chuckle how he sounded whiny like he used to when we were kids. This was real. I really was waking up in P'Finn's arms.
Uncle Draco was going to bring me to the motorcycle race later. Every year, he would help organize the event and each time I was at their house, he would ask P'Finn and I to go.
"We won't be there that long," I told him as I relaxed against his body. He lifted my chin up to make our eyes meet. My breath hitched at the sight of his eyes staring me down, his eyes landing on my lips. I quickly covered my mouth with one hand. He chuckled before he settled for kissing my forehead.
"Don't be stingy with those lips. Those are mine, too." My cheeks and ears felt hot as he spoke against my temple.
"Let's go somewhere later when it's not busy in the house. Just the two of us," he said to me before wrapping his whole body in mine.
This wasn't a dream. I could feel his heartbeat in my palm, racing. My heart was no different. The shower together later on was another confirmation.
I never thought I would be doing the same hot scene like the sexy shower ones in movies. Only that in mine, I saw everything. No fog covered anything. We did the same thing we did on the bed last night. How weak were my knees as he worked on making both of us feel good.
"Kiss me," P'Finn said before I had to leave the bedroom to head downstairs for breakfast.
My stomach fluttered non-stop as I tiptoed to reach his lips and planted a peck.
God, I was sinning hard.

The end of the motorcycle race was filled with angry confrontation between the first and second placer's parties. Apparently, the second placer's coach argued that the registered name of the first place driver wasn't the same person as the one who joined the race. That was automatic disqualification.
I was glad Uncle Draco was good at handling crowds like that and everything was settled quickly."Just another normal race, ain't it?" Uncle Draco handed me a bottle of water. We were back in his pick up truck to head back home.
"Couldn't the coach have told the organizers about that earlier?" I asked him as he started the engine.
"You're right." Uncle Draco nodded. "He should have. He probably only brought to our attention because his driver would win if the other was disqualified."
Like I would tell them about P'Finn and I only when they catch us. I felt my hair rise from what we did. Thousands of questions flooded my head. A lot of what ifs and none was any where near ending with a positive outcome.

When we arrived at the house, the living room was loud and rowdy. I heard Armina's voice as she sang in the karaoke.
"Cover your ears, uncle."
He laughed. "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing will never sound the same now."
We're both laughing as we hopped off the truck. Aunt Gianna welcomed us with a grin and a kiss in her husband's cheek. How sweet are they...
"I was tempted to take the microphone away. That kid will never admit she's tone deaf," she drawled as we walked to the back of the house where a few of aunt Gianna's friends were gathered under the makeshift white tent, chattering. Two long tables were already set, a number of plastic chairs stacks next to them.
"She's unlucky to inherit her mother and aunt's voice," uncle Draco teased. My mom and her sister weren't so blessed with my grandfather's golden voice. He was a ballad singer.
"Honey!" Aunt Gianna smacked her husband's arm. I made my way into the tent and almost stopped when P'Finn emerged from the shed on the corner of the yard carrying another stack of chairs.
My chest thumped erratically. My face burned, I was afraid that if I stayed in the backyard, everybody would be able to know what we did this morning.
I smiled sheepishly at the women under the tent, excused myself quickly when they asked me to join them at the table. Hopefully my actions weren't so weird. They were making decorations, probably for the big night tomorrow. The queen of the town would be coronated. It's a tradition every year on the last night of the festivities.
My awkward escape from the back yard wouldn't warrant suspicions. Right? Right?!
Funny how I would think people would read through me. Judge me. Cast me away. Guilt was eating me, nagging at the back of my head.
I headed inside the house not knowing where else I could go to. At one point, I even thought of asking a friend of mine from the university to call me and act as if I was needed there. Pronto.
Anything.
Anything to get me out of here. I wouldn't be able to pretend that nothing was going on between P'Finn and I. Come to think about it. What exactly was going on between us?
"You okay, love?"
"Jesus, Phi!" I jumped in surprise when P'Finn grabbed my waist and pulled me to the side in the kitchen. He didn't let me have the chance to get off his grasp. Next thing I knew his lips were devouring mine.
Forgetting where we were, I wrapped my arms around his neck as I returned his kisses, letting our tongues swirl on each other, lips molding with heat.
"I missed you," he rasped breathlessly after our mouths parted.
Biting my bottom lip, I slapped his chest. "Someone could have seen us!"
"So?" He chimed, smirking as he played with my lips with his thumb. "Am I not allowed to steal this kind of moment with my lover?"
I pursed my lips, unable to contain the wide smile on my face. "W-Were lovers?"
"That we are, baby." His lips grazed my ear as he whispered to me.
