This poem talks about Drowning
I walk against the warm sand
I can feel each sharp edge
Sharp
Smooth
Sharp
I get closer to the water
It comes up
Then back
I slowly walk in
Ignoring that my dress will get wet
I walk deeper
And deeper
It's to my chest now
I can see multiple people playing
Children playing
Parents watching
I go deeper
And deeper
I start to feel numb in my arm
But I must go deeper
Deeper
And deeper
My arm is burning
But I can't stop
I must go deeper
And deeper
I start walking slower
I'm feeling sleepy
I'm falling
I fall into the water
I breathe in
I can feel the water filling my lungs
I'm going to die here
Cold
Alone
And Numb
I've gone too deep
