Athena

I realised that Poseidon has just come out of the shower for he only had a thin cotton towel hanging loosely around his waist. I look up to see his perfectly chiseled abs and I feel the need to touch him, Wait what?! I feel a slight blush make its way up my face at that thought.

He finally realizes that he is not wearing proper clothes because he says "I..uh, I will be back shortly "
I give him a weak nod as he shuts the door behind him.

I start walking down the stairs as I ponder upon what I had thought when I saw him a moment before. I was now completely sure I had a crush on him, I mean if I take out the Medusa and Athens thing , he is actually pretty sweet.

I was now standing at the bottom of the stairs still in my thoughts.

I think it is better if we try to comfort each other rather that quarreling all the time.You know like maybe talk things out between us. Of course he doesn't have enough brains to do that so I guess I have to start this conversation.

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt someone's chest against my back and a strong smell of sea salt and fresh ocean water. Poseidon bumped into me so hard that I was about to fall face first onto the floor.

Poseidon

I looked down and saw Athena about to fall face first, I quickly wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her back up. I chuckled, "Hey, don't go falling around, I won't be there all the time to catch you" I say with a smirk playing on my lips.

She turns around to face me and our faces are literally an inch apart, "Very funny kelp-head" she says. My hands are still wrapped around her waist and for some reason I don't feel like letting go. I noticed that she was wearing the necklace I asked Aphrodite to give her.

Flashback

"Well, what if I have a friend that I want to become closer to, romantically?"

"Uh huh, let me guess, you're talking about Athena ?"

"Well...Yeah, how did you know ?"

"Oh I know everything, I already have a ship name for you guys 'Pothena'"

"Ok yeah whatever, how do I get close to her ?"

"Hmm... oh! I know! Give me something that you want to give to her as a gift, leave the rest to me"

"Okay, here take this necklace"

"Thanks, and don't worry, I will inform you when everything is set"

Flashback End

I saw Athena leaning in and I did too, our lips were a millimeter apart when...
