Athena

I turned around to face Poseidon and said "Very funny kelp-head" , his arms were still around my waist.

Before I could stop myself I leaned in and I was surprised that he did too, our lips were a millimeter apart.When the door opened and we immediately pulled apart standing at least a meter away from each other. I heard a familiar voice and saw an all too familiar face.

"Oh, Poseidon! I just heard about you and Amphitrite ending your relationship, I am so sorry" Said Aphrodite as she gave Poseidon a hug which made me feel like punching her , what made it worse was that Poseidon hugged her back, I felt as if I had just been punched in the gut.

"Wait, you guys got divorced? , why didn't you tell me?" I said as I looked at Poseidon with curious eyes.

"Well, it probably didn't matter to you so...", his voice trailed off, I felt bad for all the mean things I said to him, sure we had our ups and downs but still, he was a nice guy and I was a real jerk to him sometimes, even when he tried to be nice. I was about to apologize when Aphrodite interrupted me...

"Well, that's in the past and by the way, I did what you asked me to Poseidon" she said pulling away from the hug, did what you asked me to? I wonder what Poseidon asked her to do.

"Yeah, I noticed" Said Poseidon as he led Aphrodite towards the door, "Thank you, My Lady" he said as he kissed her cheek and finally shut the door.

I seriously wanted to kiss him right now, but I needed to talk to him first.

"Poseidon, we should probably talk", I said

"Oh, right the kiss, listen I get it I had my arms wrapped around you, you were in my house, it was a spur of the moment thing, I get it and I feel the same way, there, nothing to talk about right ?" He said and my face fell, I can't believe it, he doesn't like me, great! Ugh... come on, I should probably tell him how I feel, even if he doesn't feel the same way.

"Poseidon I-", I was interrupted yet again by a flash of light as Hermes zapped in."Hey guys, Zeus wants to see everyone", Said Hermes as he zapped out of the room leaving us alone.

"Well, let's go then..." Said Poseidon and we flashed into the throne room and took our places next to each other.

"Well...now that everyone is here, I think we should start" Zeus began, "Now first, Athena, you're maiden oath is now lifted by the will of the Fates, so go date whoever you want or whatever"

"Yeah but don't do anything I wouldn't do!", Said Apollo as he snickered.

Artemis rolled her eyes, "boys"

Whoa, at least my oath is lifted, maybe I can get Aphrodite to help me and make Poseidon fall for me now.

I was busy in my thoughts and didn't realize that the others had gone leaving me and Poseidon alone in the room.

"So, you were gonna tell me something?" He asked, I decided it would be better to keep the truth hidden for now.

"Oh it was nothing" I said as I zap away to the front door of Aphrodite's Mansion.

Poseidon

"Oh it was nothing" Said Athena, I have no idea if Aphrodite's plan is working, she told me to keep my distances from Athena for a while, so that is what I am doing.

I guess we'll see in a few days, right now is a good time to enjoy the fact that Athena's oath got lifted, I flashed away to my palace under the sea.

I went straight to my room and went to sleep, thinking about talking to Athena about our kids Percy and Annabeth.

Athena

I went straight to Aphrodite's Mansion and knocked on the door. I heard footsteps coming towards me and the door opened, I found myself face to face with Aphrodite. "Oh Athena dear, come in , come in!"

"So, I wanted to talk to you"

"About"

"Well, there is this guy, that I really like, and I don't think he likes me, so... I was hoping you would give me-and I know I am gonna regret this but still - a makeover so that ... "

"Oh! Absolutely! Stop by tomorrow and we will get you ready"

"Thanks Aphrodite" I Said as I zapped to my Mansion and went to bed.
