I Don't Understand - Namjin

I check my phone. Wed 25 December, 6:00am. It's christmas!! I sneak downstairs after grabbing a small box out of my coat pocket. I carefully open the living room door so it doesn't make any noise and wake Jin up, and I go towards the tree. I hide the box under the tree, behind the presents that we put under there last night, and dash back upstairs. I close the bedroom door behind me and turn to face a sleepy Seokjin sitting up and rubbing his eyes. 
"Namjoon..?" he mumbles, yawning. 
"Hey," I say softly. "I was just getting a drink." I say before he asks why I was up at 6 in the morning. 
"Mhm." Jin murmurs, and yawns again. He's so cute (and clingy) when he's tired. 
"Anyway," I continue. "Merry christmas babe." I kiss him on the lips. 
"Merry christmas." Jin mumbles. "OH MY GOD IT'S CHRISTMAS!" He jumps up and down on the bed, and quickly pulls on a hoodie. I laugh at my childish boyfriend as I also pull on a hoodie.

We spend the morning drinking tea, opening presents, and singing cheesy christmas songs. We're sat on the sofa cuddling when the doorbell rings. 
"I'll get it." Jin says, and heads into the hall. 
"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" I hear a chorus of voices come from the front door. 
"Woaw, what are you guys doing here?" Jin's voice floats down the hall. 
"We thought we'd pop in and surprise you two! We haven't seen you in ages!!" a voice that sounds like Hoseok's chimes. It can't be Hoseok though, he and Yoongi moved away a while ago, and they'll be spending christmas together. 
"Come in, then. God, I've missed you all so much!" Jin says. I hear footsteps so I pause the film and call out to Jin. 
"Who is it babe?" 

"Us." a voice replies. I turn my head to see Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, Hoseok and Yoongi in the doorway with Jin. 
"What the hell?! Dude, is that actually you guys?" I say, not believing the fact that my five closest friends that I haven't seen in months came over to see me and Jin. 
"Yep!" Taehyung replies. I bolt up and hug them all. 
"I missed you all so much!" I say. 
"We missed you too." Jimin says. We all sit down and catch up on what's going on in our lives, because the most we've really spoken is the odd few messages on our old group chat. 

After about an hour or two, Hoseok speaks up. 
"We're really sorry, but me and Yoon need to leave. We're visiting his family tomorrow so we're gonna travel up there tonight and we should be leaving soon. But someone hasn't packed his things yet.."  
I laugh. "That's fine. It was great seeing you guys again." 
"Me and Tae best get going soon as well." Jungkook says. 
"Same here." Jimin says. 
"That's a shame, but it was great seeing you guys again. We missed you loads." Jin says. 

Once they leave, me and Jin sit back down. 
"It was great to see them again." Jin says as he moves closer to me and rests his head on my shoulder. He's about to play the film again but I stop him. 
"Wait a sec, doesn't the tree look dodgy?" I ask him. 
"No.. What are you on about?" Jin laughs. "It looks fine." 
"Seriously, it looks like it's gonna fall, I think the bottom bit's broken." I get off the sofa to try and 'fix' the tree. 
"Babe, what are you on about?" Jin asks. 
"Look, come here and see for yourself..!" I say, still 'fixing' the tree. Jin kneels down next to me. Right, this is the perfect opportunity I think. I pull out the little box that I hid behind the tree this morning, and open it. 
"Namjoon.." Jin whispers. 
"Jin. Kim Seokjin. My Seokjinnie. I love you, with all my heart. There aren't enough words in the world for me to tell you how much I love you. Will you marry me?" I say, my hands shaking like mad. 
"Yes. A thousand times yes!!" Jin says, tears flowing down his face. I put the ring on his finger and kiss him. 

"Merry christmas Seokjinnie." I whisper. 
"Merry christmas Namjoonie. I love you so fucking much." Jin whispers back. 
"I love you too, baby."
