Jimin pauses for a second.
"Friends." he agrees.~
Jimin's joined our group, and the seven of us could never be closer. We've all been friends for months now, and it's finally the last day of school for us. This is it, we've graduated. No more school! We've all found jobs for the summer, and hopefully they'll last longer than the holidays. Yoongi and Hoseok have moved away, but we still talk all the time. Hoseok helps out in teaching young kids dance, and Yoongi's working on his music. He's sent us demos, and they're really good - you wouldn't believe an 18 year old made them, that's for sure. Jungkook's moved in with Taehyung, as Tae's parents have left him for good. Taehyung works as a rookie photographer for a nature magazine, and Jungkook works in the coffee shop Jin took me to on our first ever date. Jimin's also working under the same nature magazine as Taehyung, but he's an assistant editor, and does a good job in identifying the plants and animals Tae takes pictures of. Jin's moved in with me properly as well, and we couldn't be happier. Jin works in a small bakery; he started off just serving customers, but now he's started to help out in the kitchen. And as for me, I work in the bookshop on the other side of town. It's amazing, I'll get there at 9am when it opens, sort out books on the shelves, unpack new books (they're technically old books because they're normally second-hand donations), sit behind the counter reading until someone comes up for help or to buy something, and lock up and go home around 6pm. I get weekends off, and so does Jin, so we always spend the majority of our time together then. Jin always comes in on his lunchbreak with a sweet treat, and he'll sit and eat with me before he has to go back to work. It's amazing, I couldn't be luckier!
~
I get home at around half six this evening. I decided to walk to work, so it took longer to get back than usual, because I normally ride my bike into town and back.
"Hey babe, I'm home." I say as I lock the door behind me. But I get no response from Jin. "Babe?" I call out, a little louder than before. I take my phone out of my bag so I can phone him, but I realise that my phone died earlier today because I forgot to put it on charge last night. He's probably texted me why he's late I think, as I plug my phone into a nearby socket. Once my phone has enough life in it to turn on, I open up my messages. Just as I thought, there's a text from Jin, sent around 5pm. I reply immediately, hoping he's alright, as he only told me he's gonna be late home.Jinnie
gonna be home late.
Joonie
ok
you ok babe?About half an hour later, my phone buzzes again.
Jinnie
gonna be home late.
Joonie
ok
you ok babe?
Jinnie
yea
no
Joonie
what's wrong jin?
Jinnie
um

Joonie
ok x
which will be when..?
Jinnie
hmm
just leftsee you in about 15 minutes
Joonieok, have a safe journey back
love you x
Jinnie
love you too xSomething bad's happened. Jin would tell me anything over text if he had to, unless something bad has happened. I know Jin, and I know that he won't want to tell me anything bad over text in case he gets upset in public.
~
I just start to doze off on the sofa (which I'm not technically supposed to do anymore because it means I won't sleep much later tonight) when I hear the front door open and close.
"Hey.." Jin says quietly.
"Hey baby, are you ok?" I reply, getting up and going over to him. I hug him, and he shakes his head in response to my question. "Why were you late, Jinnie?" I ask softly, leading him over to the sofa.
"I was in the hospital.." he mumbles. The hospital?
"Are you ok? Are you hurt?" I say, turning into full protective mother mode.
"No. Well, yeah, but not physically. Joon, i-it's my d-dad. He-he's very ill, and they said he o-only has a f-few d-days left..." he murmurs, tears streaming down his face.
"Baby.." I whisper, pulling him onto my lap. I rock him gently as he cries, burying his face into my chest. "I tell you what," I say, stroking his hair to calm him down. "If you come and wait for me after work, I'll come with you to the hospital tomorrow."
"Really?" Jin asks in a timid, shaky voice.
"Really. He's like a father to me.." I reply, shifting Jin on my lap so he's facing me. He wraps his arms around my waist and we cuddle, Jin crying the last of his tears for tonight. We stay on the sofa cuddling for an hour or so, playing a film even though I'm not really paying attention to it as I'm gazing at my beautiful boyfriend.
"Joon.. Joon!" Jin says, waving his hands in front of my face and snapping me out of my daze.
"Hm?"
"You haven't been watching the film, have you?" he laughs.
"Maybe not.."
"And may I ask why?" Jin giggles.
"Maybe.. Maybe because I was kinda staring at you.. I mean, you're stunning, baby." I mumble, looking down at my lap.
"Hey." Jin says softly, gently lifting my head up and cupping my face. He kisses me sweetly, arms trailing to my waist. I place my hand on the back of his head and pull him closer, deepening the kiss. Jin leans towards me, guiding me so I'm laying down on the sofa. We pull apart for breath and Jin hovers over me. "You're so beautiful." he breathes, before leaning down and kissing me again. But this time it's a much more powerful, rougher kiss than usual, and to be honest, I really like it. Jin glides his tongue across my bottom lip, I grant him access and his tongue explores every inch of my mouth. I just let him, it's an amazing feeling. Even though we've been together for about five months, we've never kissed, well, made out like this, probably because this sort of stuff normally leads to way more, and I don't really know if I'm ready for that sort of stuff yet.We continue making out (basically Jin devouring my lips, but who cares, it's great) for around 10 more minutes. Jin's hands slowly move down from my waist to my ass. I leave it be, but then his right hand moves towards my crotch. My breath hitches when he starts to rub *that* area, and Jin stops immediately.
"Namjoon, are you ok baby?" he asks, taking my hand and squeezing it.
"Yeah.." I mutter, not looking him in the eye.
"You're not. What's wrong Joon?" Jin presses, putting two fingers under my chin and softly lifting my head up.
"I, um.. I don't know how to say it Jin..." I mumble.
"Just say it, baby."
"I'm not ready.. For, well, that..." I whisper, scared I'll upset him. "Sorry Jin.."
"Joonie, why are you sorry? It's completely fine that you're not ready for sex yet, don't be afraid to talk to me about that stuff. You know I'll never make you do anything you don't feel completely comfortable with. I'll wait as long as I have to." Jin says, grabbing my other hand and looking me in the eyes.
"Thank you Jinnie." I say. "I don't mind the snogging, though." I smirk, and lean back into another kiss, letting Jin take control again. He checks if it's ok, and once I confirm I'm comfortable with it, Jin keeps his hands resting on my waist. We curl up on the sofa afterwards, and Jin carries me up to bed when I start to fall asleep on his lap.
hope you enjoyed it! maybe some smut soon..? leave suggestions for what should happen, as i only have a rough idea :3
