“I’m telling you, they are so adorable together.”

               “Finally, something happened between them.”

“Do you think they did the dirty?”

I heard the voices of my not-so-quiet friends before I could even open my eyes. I groaned quietly.

“Who dares speak at this unholy hour,” I muttered, still refusing to open my eyes.

“Hate to break it to you, baby girl, but it’s already nine thirty three,” I heard Landon say. “It’s not that early.”

My eyes opened slightly, squinting at the huddle of pajama-clad intruders seated at the foot of my bed. “Easy for you to say, you weren’t up late working,” I grumbled.

Hudson raised his eyebrows. “Yes, I think we can all see that you were up working for the Chase company now, weren’t you?” he said, gesturing to the unconscious bed partner snoring right next to me.

I groaned. “It’s too early for this,” I said, trying to push away from Aiden. It was pretty difficult, considering how his arms were as heavy as lead pipes. “To be honest, you guys are taking this much better than I thought you would.”

“Oh trust me, we were all crying tears of joy when we realized you two spent the night together,” Clark assured me. “Then we took pictures before settling down.”

                I groaned.

“Have you heard Aiden talk in his sleep?” Landon asked me. I shook my head. I, myself, was a heavy sleeper. “He’s been doing it ever since he was little. He can actually hold a conversation sometimes.”

“Aiden says the most random things, it’s hilarious,” Hudson added.

Sitting up, a brilliant idea popped into my head. “You guys want to have some fun with a sleeping person?” I said evilly. I was met with grins as wicked as my own.

Slowly, all of us crept close to Aiden’s sleeping form, leaning forward until our faces were right up in his.

“Aiden,” I purred quietly and he hummed in response.

“Bro, it’s time to go,” Landon said quietly. “We’re going to Shay’s wedding.” I thumped Landon’s shoulder while he held back a snicker.

“Who’s she marrying?” Aiden mumbled in his sleep, although it sounded more like, “Her shuh murrnin.”

“Santa Claus,” Hudson deadpanned. Everyone began giggling and Hudson shushed us.

“Santa should give her to me for Christmas,” he grumbled.

My eyes widened and Camille was red in the face as she tried to hold in her giggles.

“Does that you mean you want to unwrap her?” Landon asked, trying to keep his laughter out of his voice. I sputtered, choking on my own spit, before Hudson clapped his hand over my mouth.

Aiden mumbled something else, grinning slightly, but I couldn’t hear over everyone’s attempts to keep in their giggles. I glared at them, telling them to shush.
