Adrien's P.O.V

When I wake up this morning, I'm better. I'm still anxious. I'm still afraid. But I'm a tiny bit better, and it's because I talked to Luka.

I'm still wondering why he was on the rooftops.

I get dressed and put my bag on my shoulder.

When I get downstairs, my father isn't there, but it's not surprising.

I have my breakfast in silence before Nathalie leads me out to the car.

The ride to school is silent as always, but this time, I don't care as much. Today is a semi-special day.

It's report-card-day.

I step out of the car, immediately attacked by Hurricane Chloé, with Sabrina not standing to far off.

"Adrikins!" she cries in her obnoxiously high-pitched voice, "I missed you!"

"Chloé, you literally saw me last Friday. It's only Monday, you can't have missed me that much," I say, rolling my eyes.

Luckily, my bro Nino saves me from Chloé by telling me it's time to go to class.

I follow him, chatting about our weekends.

Nino, the poor loser, had finally started dating Alya and his brain had been reduced to complete mush.

"Nino Lahiffe, you're whipped," I snort.

Nino gives me the foulest look I've seen in years. It's so foul, it puts Lila Rossi to shame.

It only makes me snicker like a little girl.

"Someone seems giddy today," says a certain Sixth-former from behind.

I blush so bad, I go redder than Ladybug's jumpsuit.

"W-well it's report card day and... um... Nino's dating Alya," I blurt out.

"Isn't she one of Juleka's friends?" Luka asks.

I nod, and I notice that Nino's gone an ugly shade of sangria.

Luka walks off to the Sixth-form building and I find myself smiling at his retreating form.

"Now who's whipped?" whispers Nino smugly, clearly proud of himself for getting me back.

"It's still you, because I'm actually able think straight. But then again, when have you ever thought at all?"

Nino just smirks to himself (Nino is thinking: Adrien can't think straight because he's quite clearly gay) and continues to walk to our classroom.

I join him, sliding into my seat next to him.

Honestly, I don't hear any of Miss Bustier's worlds.

But when a crash vibrates through the school halls, I know we're in danger.

"Class, get down! Someone has probably been akumatized!" commands Miss Bustier.

With all the commotion, she doesn't notice me sneaking into the boys locker room.

"Plagg, claws out!"

The transformation is instant.

I extend my pole, landing on top of a building. I fall in line with ladybug, who appears out of no-where, like always.

"Nice to see you, Bugaboo," I say, but it lacks the playful enthusiasm. It's just a name now.

She salutes whilst running.
