Celestia Jarren was not raised by her own biological parents, though, she was still given a name that honored her mother and father. Her father was a Mandalorian—Din Djarin—and her mother—Celeste Bruten—a force sensitive individual. Although she did not personally know them, she wished she had the privilege of meeting them. She only knew their story, a tragic one, yet it was full of romance and adventure.
Celestia was trained as a pilot from a very early age. Her adoptive parents knew that Celestia would likely come to realize her control over the force since her mother was so powerful with it. So, they pushed her to focus on training in flight school to delay the discovery. Celestia was esteemed in her field and was known as one of the best pilots in the universe. She was very much sought out after to lead navies into battle for a hefty reward.
While she was selling her skill for temporary jobs, she slowly came to realize her ability to control the force. Small things occurred such as her moving an object without touching it or her flicking a light switch without having to get up from her seat. She tried to brush the idea of her being one with the force off, but the thought just kept nagging at her.
When General Organa of the Resistance reached out to Celestia to become a pilot for her, Cel instantly accepted the offer. She was all for the cause and was growing tired of doing the same old small tasks for groups of bounty hunters or small planets at war with one another. Celestia excelled at her job with the Resistance and grew to be one of Leia's favorite and best fighters for the Resistance.
During her time with the Resistance, Celestia met Poe Dameron. Her colleague and now partner. They instantly hit it off with one another. His humorous and light hearted manner complemented her serious and reserved personality. They just fit well with one another, and couldn't see themselves any other way. They soon began a relationship once they began to work together for the Resistance.
