Subtle Differences

        Issac looked at his hand. Travis was pushing him around in a wheel barrel in Isaac's backyard. "I hate football training" Travis groaned. Isaac stared at his hand "hey at least you didn't get stabbed in your hand" "someone stabbed you in the hand?" Travis dropped the wheel barrel. The sudden drop caused it to tip over sending Isaac tumbling into a bush "okay one never do that again while it was fun it was also uncomfortable two I almost got stabbed in the hand I got stuck in history with Edam and we have to sit directly next to each other and lets just say my knowledge of "current" issues that involve gay marriage pissed him off so he threatened to stab me and well long story short he stabbed a pencil into the desk next to my hand" "and what did you do?" "I didn't even flinch remember my parents own a fucking weapons museum lets just say me and Robert weren't always as cordial as we are now it used to be a wooden sword duel to decide who was right and it was even worse than our fight last year" Isaac reached up for Travis to help him up "that fight last year was so stupid you do remember how against it most of us were?" "oh of course I do but back to the story the teacher heard the pencil and he got suspended indefinitely but ..." "but ... but what?" "the principal almost didn't and the towns changed since they came" "I know I've noticed to when were together people started acting weird and stuff"

        Isaac straightened out the wheel barrel "its probably because their parents are very "influential people here ugh'" Edam and TJ's Mother was the mayor's sister and their father was the pastor, and in their small town that was saying something. Isaac slipped himself into the transport tool and looked at Travis "hurry up or I'm going to make you carry me to school tomorrow" "you know I can't do shit in the morning especially not on Mondays" "well you're doing shit right now aren't you. It was about 7 Am on Sunday. "Oh also don't forget to run to your house and grab swim trunks were going to the beach today. We did it last year and I have to pay back Robert for something he did that little twerp shall not escape my wrath". Travis spent the next hour hauling Isaac around in circles training for practice. "Alright go get your shorts on I'm driving". Travis ran next door and changed then hopped into Isaac/Robert's car. The small talk consisted mostly of how Isaac's parents had been gone for about three months in Thailand studying as well as collecting ancient Taiwanese weapons.

        The beach was small and dirty. The once pristine sands were now covered in processed cheese powder, from Doritos and Cheetos, and every little ways was trash. When they arrived Alyssa was sitting on her pink bug talking to Eugene and Robert was getting a piggyback ride from Tomas while Mia took pictures. Isaac got out of the car "Hey losers I thought we were going shopping" Eugene looked up "did you just make a mean girls reference?" "I made it for my brother not for you although I guess your allowed to enjoy it" "and this is why we love you" "well I wish I could say the same for any of you" Eugene tackled Isaac causing a small scuffle and they ended up wrestling in the sand when Robert and Tomas as well as Travis join in. Mia and Alyssa looked down on the boys "Um Alys' Does this happen a lot?" Alyssa rolled her eyes "more than you would believe I was hopping gay guys didn't do this that's why I got three" Robert looked up "I'm surprised you didn't say anything about being called Alys"  "you still can't call me that she asked first so she can where as you started and didn't ask so you can go choke on a hot dog" "was that a gay joke?" Eugene joked "no fatty it was a fat joke" Eugene patted his flat stomach. Robert pulled away from the scuffle and hopped on Eugene's back "carry me to the water please" he was brimming with glee. "fine sweetiekins" Isaac looked at Travis "do I even need to ask or are you going to figure it out?" Travis groaned and rolled his eyes before picking up his boyfriend bridal style and carried him to the water when he got about waist deep he dropped him. Alyssa walked over to her boyfriend who was still sitting on the ground. She grabbed his arm and dragged him along the beach into the water. 

        When it got dark out they started a bonfire. Robert got some speakers out of Alyssa's car and started playing music mostly Katy Perry and P!nk. Everyone started dancing Alyssa was the first one to sit down "this was so much fun it was definitely better than last year but I still miss Brooke" Isaac sat down next to her "why do you think I invited Mia to her going away party? The two of them wouldn't have gotten along but I knew you two would I thought Mia might be like a bandage she would at least slow down the bleeding from the wound Brooke left" "smart and I believe it may have worked a little" "also remember last year I lied to leave because you didn't have a boyfriend but instead you had a secret admirer who turned out to be the ugliest mother fucker ever" "Yeah Danny Mathenson not only is he ugly but he's also rude, crude and lewd" Mia sat down and Isaac stood up "so  heard almost all of that and I wanna know more about Danny he just so happens to be my brothers best friend" Alyssa looked at her "trust me, no you don't he is the worst type of person he thinks he's gods gift to women and he treats us women like were only here for his entertainment" Tomas Grabbed Alyssa's hand "lets not talk about that come on lets dance" and they did.
