My Day

Here We Go Again

        Isaac rolled out of his bed and hit the floor with a soft thud. "I just woke up and I'm already done with today". Robert leaned over the side of his bed and looked down at Isaac "well look at it this way be happy it FUCKING SNOWED LAST NIGHT ... also mom and dad come home tomorrow, but SNOW" Robert squealed at the top of his lungs. Isaac glared up at him but before he could say anything Odie sat down on his back "ugh ... something tells me you're hungry ... you can get off now I'll feed you when you get off". He walked down his stairs and looked out the window to see if it really had snowed.

        Outside the ground was covered in a thin layer of pure white beauty ... except on the ground in front of their house there spelled out in red is the word "MOVE" Isaac quickly fed his annoyed dog and ran outside. The words had drawn some attention a few neighbors milled about waiting to ask but never working up the nerve to. Isaac looked at the neighbor from across the street she was a small woman in her early 20's "did you see what happened here?" She looked at the ground angrily "no but who ever did this deserves to be punished severely I mean just look at what happened here. Hon if you ever need someone to talk to I know a guy he's my college psych professor but I think he still works as a shrink" "thanks I'm gonna call the po--" before he could finish his statement the police pulled up "Isaac you know the drill by now" "let me go get dressed first" "fine ten minutes" "I only need four but I'll take the extra six to tell Robert"

        Isaac dragged himself up the stairs. This was the 18th time in the last four years that something like this has happened mostly to Robert but sometimes Isaac had gotten dragged in. He knew all the officers by name and all the procedures. "Robert it happened again" "where and what did it say?" "front lawn in big bold red letters spelling out move" "least original yet I got that five times already" "yeah Jerry came to pick me up. You don't have to come but it would be greatly appreciated by everyone if you would shovel that snow" "fine but I have one request tell Jerry I said happy early birthday" "sure" Isaac threw on a T-shirt and jeans. He dashed down the stairs and got into the police car. He said Hi to Jerry and happy birthday. They spent the car ride reminiscing on how unpleasant it was riding in the car but also about how nice it was that it had finally slowed down. They got to the station it was the usual questions "what happened? When did it Happen? Who did it?" The only question Isaac could answer with something besides I don't know was "What was their motive?" Isaac looked up "to make two of the gays move out of town"

        By the time Isaac got home Robert had almost finished he only had half the E left. Travis and Eugene was making a snowman with the tinted snow. Alyssa and Mia were making snow angels with it. Isaac looked over at Robert before jumping into a pile of snow he made a snowball and a wicked thought crossed his mind. He tossed the snowball at Robert but then flopped on his back and made a snow angel. Robert turned around after the impact and glared at Eugene. He scooped up the biggest snowball he could and chucked it at Eugene. Unfortunately he missed ond killed the snowman. Travis tossed one at Robert but it sailed over his head and hit Mia in the face. Isaac laughed at the mayham he had caused until one hit him. He called for a time out  and divided up into teams Boys Vs. Girls and Robert. All of them had fun until they got cold and went inside for hot chocolate and horror movies. Isaac Clung to Travis who clung right back. Robert snuggled in close to Eugene. Mia sat at attention fascinated by the movie and like usual Alyssa fell asleep.
