I remember last year I met you here
Stupid of me didn't ask for your number
I walk inside
The smell of coffee hit my face.

I walk to a single table
Ordered my coffee
Writing on my journal about this month
I flipped the pages and saw one that was last year.

I chuckled at how in love I am with you
Even though it was only a first meeting
You surely can easily made someone fall for you
Even someone like me.

My order came, and I took a sip
The taste is still the same as last year
Made me remember when you asked me about cats and dogs
You exploded when I say dogs, saying cats are better
I laughed at the thought, I can't believe you're older than me.

A pair of arms then appeared in front of my eyes
I heard a small laugh behind me
I recognize that voice
You.

You sat across me, a wide smile on your face
It never left your face, as if it was a tattoo
You seem happy that I came back to your workplace
Of course I came back, it's because of you.

"how's life Mark? Got any girlfriend yet?" He asked, your voice, sounds like heaven

"Life's good, and no I don't have a girlfriend"

"Yet?"

"will never" I saw the surprised look on your face, I was so stupid shouldn't have said that

"it's okay, even if you're different from the rest of us, I'll support you" your words made me happy, you did it again, made me happy when no one else did.

I smiled and hugged him, his scent reached my nose, I won't forget this.

He pulled back, looking into my eyes

"sorry Mark, I gotta go, my break's over" and with that he headed to the back room.

I just came out of the closet, and I felt relieved.
