It's Upon Us

'I remembered just now realizing who this Mortal.. Once a long time ago..
Existed the Voice of Mortal who's Prayers were full of Compassion, Love, Innocence, and Kindness.. It was a Prayer that always came through.
I enjoyed listening to the Mortals Prayers that were full of Happiness, Excitement, and Laughter I was Thankful for having such a Young Mortal under my Care.

Each Archangel had their Assigned Mortals that went by when they were born.
We knew Each and Every Mortal we Had Too since we were their Guardians who Watched, Guided, and Helped Whenever they needed us. It didn't matter if they prayed once in a while we all knew that the Mortal's under our Care were always Thankful for Everything we helped and did for them.

I hugged the girl back filled with more emotions than I usually held or handled as I brushed her hair down gently.
'But I was the Lucky One to receive this Mortal's Prayers Every Night and sometimes During the Day. I loved listening to their Prayers..
I loved listening to them.. Of course we Never Knew how the Mortal's under our Care looked like.
We only knew the Gender and the Name but.. For Some reason the Mortal I had under my care didn't come with a Name or Gender..

I went to our Father to clear up the confusion. But even he was confused as to why this was the Only Mortal who had no exact Identity..
He asked me if I still felt the Mortals Life Force. I said I did. I was afraid he'd take this Mortal out of my care. Instead he told me as long as I sensed the Mortal's Life Force there was no need for an Identity.

I was relieved as I made my way back to my own station as they called it where I had a five assistants who helped me around passing along any Prayers who asked for Guidance and anything else they needed to help them in life. I pulled back and wiped her tears away as I asked for her Name and Age.

'Jack....'

My most trusted friend and assistant who would always bring me the Prayers of the Unidentified Mortal...
when suddenly One day he didn't bring me anything. I was utterly confused wondering if he forgot and called him over asking for the Mortal's Prayers I assigned him to bring me everyday.. When he told me the Mortal hadn't sent anything since Last Night.

After entrusting Lucifer with the girl I quickly departed making my way back to Heaven with Kai and Leo.
"I want you Both to head here." I said as I sent them directions to the Station telepathically. "Make sure. You Find. and Bring the Archived folder under the Initials UM. And Make. Sure. You Bring them to the Throne Room." I said void of emotion.

I was completely Confused and felt Empty in a way.. Since the Mortal's Prayers always kept me Company and brought me Joy just by listening to them Ramble on. After that.. I was Hoping the Mortal has just forgotten and would Pray again soon.. but it never came.
And I could no longer sense the Mortal's Life Force. I couldn't do anything.

Since I had no name or gender I couldn't go through the Book of the Judged to see if the Mortal had passed and ascended or not. I still hoped the Mortal would come through Every Day.. And Now Only.. to Find out that Mortal..
Is the Young Girl who had been crying in my arms before I left her in Lucifer's Care for now.

Leo and Kai quickly went ahead while I headed for the Balcony.
I feel betrayed by Jack now Knowing the Mortal.. this Girl was and still kept praying on but Thanks to Jack.. I ended up Failing this Girl as her Guardian.. Thanks to Him. I wasn't able to offer Guidance.. Protection.. or Help..

Because of Him.. She. Lost. Everything.' I flew in through the balcony landing in the center of the station and breaking the floor around me.
"Sir Michael. Is Everything Alright?" I looked up knowing that voice was the cause of that young girls life to fall apart. I stalked over to him grabbing him by his throat to which he quickly clawed and scratched to free himself while I flied back out the balcony with him.

I quickly landed before the doors to the Throne Room where I released this Disgusting Monster just as the Doors opened.
I looked down at Jack glaring at him coldly to get inside to which he quickly got up and stumbled inside with me behind him.
"My Son? Why have you Dragged this Man Here. This Isn't How we Treat ou-.."

"Father. If I may.. I would like you to Listen on the Matter as to Why I have Dragged my Most Trusted Friend and Assistant Here." I said while kneeling down on one knee with my head bowed. "We're Listening." I nodded as I got back up just as Leo and Kai walked in with Three Archived Folders.
"Thank You Father."
