It's Upon Us

Chapter 22

I watched in horror when I saw Thovion in the flesh stab Micheal with a blade that had black smoke emitting.
I looked around to see the others were unconscious but not dead for some reason even with the black crystals in their chests. I summoned a spear & threw at Thovion who pulled out his blade to block the spear.

I quickly teleported to Micheal but got sent flying by a powerful punch that kicked the oxygen out of my lungs.
I looked up to see Liam stalking towards me to which I quickly stood up.
"Liam!! What are you doing?!?!" I yelled furiously. My eyes widened when a blade similar to Thovion's grew out of his palm.

'Those shards!! They weren't meant for killing.. They were meant to control their victims. Damnit!! I Can't & Will Not hurt my Friends!!'
I summoned a blade to block his attack but he had grown more stronger & it was most likely due to that shard.

"Daughter. I see you've finally awakened." Thovion said proudly.
I looked up panting heavily to see Katherine hovering over the floor staring her hands emotionlessly. "Yes." She said blankly.
"My memories have been overruned with the knowledge of how to wield my powers.. I thank you.." She said as she forged a long blade that was emitting a crimson aura.

Thovion chuckled, "Looks like we'll be giving your uncle a visi-.. Argh!!"
I watched with shock & confusion when Katherine swiftly sent her blade into Thovion's chest. "Wh-... what are you.." He roared out in pain when she twisted her sword in his chest. "How DARE you Hurt My Friends!!!" She yelled furiously.

She yanked her sword out of Thovion's chest & sent her hand forth that threw Thovion back with a gust of wind.
"Wh-.. why.. I made sure to erase any trace of Ever meeting them! I made sure to replace them with nothing but emotions full of hatred!!" He questioned angrily after he got up. He had his hand over the wound on his chest that didn't seem to be healing even though he's clearly an immortal.

"I'm Not weak-willed!! I heard the Conversation you had with Micheal & Lucifer while I lied dormant in those orbs.
You planned to kill the purenes & goodness in me by corrupting the Me that lied dormant in the left orb.. & providing my other half with more power to awaken my power to the fullest." She explained with a dark growl.

"I've used the same corrupted blade you used on Micheal... Father." She said venomously with disgust.
Thovion's eyes widened in horror & fear as he quickly looked down at his wound. "Y-.. you won't be accepted by My brother once he sets his eyes upon you.. He'll try to kill you.. & you'll have no choice but to fight for your life!!" Thovion said wheezing heavily.

"I Won't Fight back even if he wishes to kill me." Katherine replied with a glare.
Thovion began coughing up black blood to which he quickly summoned a gateway he fled into.
Katherine quickly yelled something in a language native to me that sent a white aura flowing out of her body.

I fell backwards with her quickly appearing by my side with a warm smile before I went unconscious.

I placed my hand over Micheal's wound to destroy any trace of the infection & smiled when I was done.
I quickly got up & rushed through the hole in the wall that led into the kitchen to see Lucifer on floor motionless with Liam a few feet away from him. I kneeled beside Lucifer & placed my hand on his chest to heal all the infected wounds on his body.

He gasped hoarsely as he opened his eyes panting before quickly sending me flying into the wall.
I cried out in pain & groaned, "I just saved your Fucking Life & you Repay Me by trying to kill me?!?" I asked with a huff as I got up once my body healed.
"Healing me?! But Thovion said you.. ..-"

"I stabbed Thovion with the same blade he used on Micheal & Liam used on you. He fled & won't be making an appearance anytime soon after he realized his plan to take over the Heavens failed." I explained. He looked shocked, amazed yet cautious as he got up. I walked over to Dante who sat up groaning, "Wh-.. What happened??" He asked as he looked up at Lucifer.

His eyes widened when he turned to me, "You're back!! That means Hunter did it.. Wait.. Where's Micheal??? The last thing I remember was him pulling out his sword before he knocked me out." He asked worryingly.
"Actually Michael & Lucifer teamed up to save me.." I said with a smile. His eyes widened as he turned to look at Lucifer who nodded to confirm what I said was true. "Where are the others??" Liam asked as he got up.

I motioned him to the hole in the wall that sent him in panic as he raced through it.
I got up & walked over to Lucifer with one question on my mind.
"Lucifer.. Thovion called God My Uncle. But They're Not even related. So Why did he call him brother.??" I asked curiously.

He sighed, "They're Not actually Brothers. By what He told us.. He was brought forth first & left to watch over your Universe, the mortals & their world.. Thovion was created Eons later but by a different force.. At least that's How He described it so He taught Thovion the ways in living & the tasks as a God was. So that pretty sums it up.." He explained.

"Huh.." I hummed.
