Alec and Hobbins went down to the cafeteria, and Hobbins led Alec to a kind-looking young woman in a wheelchair.
" Cosette, I'd like to introduce you to someone."
Cosette looked at Hobbins with milky, blind eyes, a happy smile on her sweet face.
" Hi dad. Would this ' someone' be the new boyfriend?"
" Yep!" Hobbins chirped.
" Alec Sweet, this is my eldest, Cosette Jogsohn."
Cosette smiled and waved in Alec's general direction.
" I'd say it's great to see you, but I'm blind." She joked.
" Well, I can see why your dad is so proud of you." Alec said.
Cosette laughed and shook her head.
" Flatterer." She teased.
Hobbins smoothed his daughter's hair gently.
" Cosette is my pride and joy. She's a smarty."
Alec smiled and hugged his boyfriend.
" I kind of gathered as much."
Cosette made shooing gestures.
" Go find the others. I heard Axel and Conan arguing somewhere around here..."
