The day after, Taehyung came over. We were going to tell him about the engagement. Jimin was his usual happy self and I was my usual fake happy self. I don't think this is much of an achievement, but I'm really good at being fake happy. We made Taehyung lunch and told him then.
"Tae, we have something to tell you." Jimin started.
"Really? What is it?" Taehyung asked. He was cute when he was curious. It would have been a lot cuter if I wasn't announcing my engagement to a man I didn't love.
"Something really important-" I cut Jimin off.
"Me and Jimin are engaged!" I just wanted to get it over with. Of course Taehyung stayed for hours talking. He mainly talked to Jimin but I always appreciated when he would turn to talk to me. Those were the moments I actually enjoyed in life. The moments with Taehyung. Taehyung asked so many questions and Jimin was way too excited to answer all of them. I really don't blame him. He just got engaged to a man he actually loves. Eventually Taehyung left and me and Jimin went to sleep. Lying about your love for a person is tiring and I needed to get some rest.
