Shia's Point of View
My mom was now finishing putting the last of our things in the moving truck. I just sat outside looking at the familiar trees swaying in the winter breeze. Dillon was probably mad at me because I understood when Will told me, but I freaked out when he wouldn't tell me. I was trying not to think of that, I was trying to say focused and attempt to take in and remember everything about this place. I had too many great memories here. Lucky for me my grandparents would move in when we left, but it wasn't the same. Tonight was my last night in town and my friends wanted to take us all to a club we used to go to every weekend. I wanted to lay in my yard all day and night and look up at the sky, not go dancing.
"Shia please go I won't go unless you do and I know you love to dance. Remember, you were the one who showed us the place. And.. We had our first kiss there." Will pleaded.
I did remember we were just talking in the corner because we were mad at our dates. I also always knew that when we would talk and look each other in the eyes I always felt like we were gonna kiss, and that time we did. I honestly didn't want to go, right now I was perfectly content how I was know. Just sitting there beside Tallulah's, my cat, grave. "Will, do I have to go?" I asked hoping the cuteness in my voice would make him go and let me stay here alone.
" I must admit, you are so funny. Yeah right Shia." he replied. The next thing I was being lifted off the ground and carried into my room.
"I don't have any clothes, only bed clothes." I protested.
"Oh don't worry I already picked you out one." he said laughing.
"This oughta be good."
Will tossed me on the only thing left in my room, by bed with a throw blanket across it. He told me to close my eyes. He stepped into what I knew was my empty closet. "Okay, open." I opened my eyes to see Miss Me jeans and a dark peach folders sweatshirt with black designs on it, and I grey-ish sequin shirt. He also handed me some grey rocket dogs. "Will, did you get all this?" I asked excitedly.
"Yeah, just for you. You are gonna go right?" he raised one eyebrow.
"Of course I am!" I said jumping up and kissing him.
We walked in the club holding hands. Lorain, Kelson, and Dillon met us at the door. We exchanged greetings and walked in. "Surprise!" Everyone jumped out and scared the heck out of us. The whole club was rented out and filled with friends from school. Someone was walking up through the crowd, it was my bestfriend Mason, I hadn't seen him in a two months. He must have just gotten back from seeing family in Illinois today. I literally ran to him, we didn't ever hug really unless something sad happened, but we always did our handshake.
The best thing about Mason was that I could tell him anything and he trusted me with his life. He was more my bestfriend then half my girlfriends were. I assumed he was the planer of all this.
After I talked with everyone about how sad I was to move and how I would kiss them we all started to break it down. I was so overjoyed that I went I grabbed Will by his hand and pulled him over in the same corner we had our first kiss in and kissed him tenderly. "Thank you." I whispered. He pulled me into a hug and put his chin on the top of my head. "I love you." he replied. I nodded my head as it just dawned on me I would be leaving Mason. He had to move with us or something he was in Florida that spring break too. He was in danger as much as the rest of us.
