[Emily's POV]

I remember the day Emmett disappeared...

[Flashback]

I was 9 years old then and Emmett was 13 years old.

I got home from school feeling very excited that I would play with my brother. He was always so busy with high school but promised to play with me after school that day.

"I am home!!!" I shouted as I got down from the car after thanking the driver.

I went directly to my big brother's room without bothering to change my clothes.

I entered his room and found it empty.

"Big bro, where are you? Are you playing hide and seek with me? Hmph! You can't even greet me before we start playing," I grumbled as I searched everywhere for him.

I searched for him for an hour before I gave up and decided to ask the maids.

"Lucinda, have you seen my brother?" I asked a nearby maid.

"No, Miss. He hasn't gotten home yet," she answered, surprised that I didn't know.

I was angry that he didn't come home even after he promised to play with me... and he always kept his promise.

"I can't believe he broke his promise. He is probably playing basketball with his friends at school, " I said angrily as I pouted.

I immediately went to call a driver to take me to my brother's school.

I got down from the car to see my brother's driver still waiting in front of the school so I went to meet him.

"Mr Andrew, is my brother still in school?" I asked him angrily.

"Young Miss, I haven't seen him since school ended, he probably went to play," The driver, Mr Andrew, answered.

I went to meet his friends at the basketball court but they said he had left after school closed saying that he had to play with his little twin. My brother called me his twin since we looked so alike now.

I was worried and called my Mom and Dad. They immediately contacted the police and tried to find him.

After six months, the police and my parents' sources still couldn't find him, so they pegged him as dead.

I didn't believe that my brother was dead so I decided to find him myself which was why I started the IFU company when I was 10 years old.

I tried to find him but couldn't. My parents stopped talking about him after I turned 12 cause they didn't want to bring back bad memories. They kept most of his pictures hidden away but I still had this picture with me.

[Flashback ends]

Even though 7 years have passed, looking at this picture still brings back the horrible memories.

I broke down crying but quickly wiped away my tears when I heard the door open.

"Emily, we are having a sleepover!" Lily said happily jumping on me but when she noticed my tear-shrieked face, she paused as her face turned downcast.

"Emily, were you thinking about Emmett again?" Adam asked concerned as he looked at me.

I nodded my head as they all looked at me with a sad and knowing gaze.

They all knew Emmett too since they are my childhood friends so they felt my pain too as they were close with him.

"O-ok," Lily said, stammering a bit as she sniffed but then quickly shrugged off her sadness before smiling a bit, "I know a way to make us all feel better. Come on," she continued as she tried to be the mature one since even Shawn and Adam were affected by it as their faces were full of sadness.

Lily took us to the living room to start the sleepover. My parents were not home and are coming back in one month so we have the house to ourselves.

She gathered us together and we watched some funny movies that made us cheer up while taking popcorn and drinking some juice, even though Lily wanted to have some chocolate lollipop since it was her favourite.

Once we were done, we talked a lot and forgot about that incident. Once it started getting late in the night, we all changed into our pyjamas in individual rooms.

Lily and I both wore the same type of pyjamas. We looked like twins as we both wore pink pyjamas with white lace. I feel like I am her role model or something since she likes copying me sometimes.

After we changed and went back to meet the guys, I remembered the message I received and told them.

"That's weird. Who would know your real identity and even try to threaten you?" Adam asked, furrowing his brows.

"Well, I am just going to say that the person is dumb. Threatening you? Does he still value his life?" Shawn asked in a mocking tone.

"Well, at least now I can have some fun, and through the information, I got from a camera near the SIM store, it was a teenage boy that bought it. He seemed around our age which makes one wonder if it is Nick," I said with a sly grin as they got what I was passing across.

"No, it couldn't be him, that would be very careless for him to do. He just joined our school and if he was the one that sent that message, it would be too obvious and from what we know about the mystery guy, he is still careful even though he is playful," Adam said thoughtfully.

"But it could be that he is making use of reverse psychology. He might want to make it seem like he is not the one since it is too obvious and tricks us into taking the long method instead," Lily said with a serious face.

When Lily makes a serious face, it means she is thinking about something.

"Whatever the case may be, I have decided to go to my office and get more information," I said authoritatively as I clasped my hands together.

"Sure, so let's enjoy our sleepover!" Lily said as she jumped high. I am not exaggerating, she could have reached the roof.

With that concluded, we continued having fun till Lily turned to us.

"Hey. How about...?"
