Another meeting was called, everyone had to head to the Meeting Hall. This time Zim was conscious for the announcement, one of the enforcer robots burst into his room and blared out the order. Getting an Enforcer to tell him, must be important. On his was over there Skoodge whispered to him to meet him in the library afterwards. Zim was willing to oblige to that, he didn't see Skoodge as much of a threat anyway.

Inside the Hall was a hologram of the Tallest standing on the stage with Verk standing proudly before them. Everyone was glancing around frantically, all except for Lin and Tak, who were enamoured with their own plans of escape. That plan was hidden deep under their own special code so the helpers couldn't find out.

Zim stood nervously by Skoodges side, he didn't exactly know anyone and any Irken he could recognise he wasnt on good terms with... He watched anxiously as Tallest Red hushed the crowd to start their speech.

"Now this hopefully will be the last time we're forced to look at you disgraces for more then we must." Red hissed at them, he then sighed and continued "We have observed through our helpers that ZERO of you lazy bastards have done any work on this mission! So we're making a new rule, if you fail to do consistent work on your one idea to solve defectivness then... Well, I'm sure we made our strictness clear with Dig..."
A chill went up Zims spine, was Red implying laziness or refusal would result in... Death?

"Wait sirs!" Came a voice. Red and Purple glared at the Irken who dared call out. It was Lin, being such a tall Irken with a high position they let her speak.
"What is it Lin?" Red growled.
"Well, you said one idea... What do you mean by that?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Purple cut in "We don't care about you guyses lives! You have one shot at this mission and if your idea isn't satisfactory, well I'm sure you're all smart enough to put two and two together," Purple snickered at the horrified look plastered on the defective Irkens faces'.

"But what if we all die?" Cried out Lin.
"The less defects the better, you think the control brains give a shit about this cure thingy working? Just look around, we didn't get much of a fucking budget now did we?" Purple muttered "If you all die we can just make more out of your DNA, of just drop the whole thing and go back to hunting Defects for sport."
"I-Isn't that what's happening here?"
"Of course not! You at least get a chance to live here, apart from that... Actually you're right not really!:

The hologram dissappeard, Verk stood watching all the Defects reaction however. They were all panicking again, not unlike when they first received the news. Some were yelling out in fear, but it was clear some where repressing their emotions to seem less defective... It was only when Lin jumped onto stage and shoved Verk aside.

"Everyone listen up!" She yelled as loud as she could, as calm as Lin attempted to be her antenna were frayed in fear. Everyone stood silent and stared up at the former Smeetery worker.
"We all have to be very calm, we must complete this mission for the future of Defects! If we fail the Empire will continue murdering Irkens they deem Defective, like Dig... Some of you might die, but not without guiding us to learn from your mistakes. All I can say for certain however is we have an important mission so let's work hard shall we?"

An outburst of applause and cheers came from the others. They all fled out the Hall and to the lab to begin research on their cure. Some were making allies to help them. But Zim off to the Library after Skoodge.

...

The inside of the Library was the same as when Zim first entered it, some helpers charging and some of the books were scattered carelessly along the floor. Zim wandered around the library for his ally for about five minutes before finding him leaning against one of the huge rows of books, he was holding a book and had a pile of others sitting at his feet.

"Zim!" Skoodge beamed, Zim approached him and Skoodge looked back to his book. Zim crouched down and looked at the pile of books, most seemed irrelevant to the mission at hand... Books about the history of the Empire, books about the creation of the helpers... None seemed important to fixing their unsatisfactory paks..

"I didn't even know Irkens wrote books." Zim admitted, flicking through the pages of one.
"We don't, we get other species such as Vortians to write them."
Zim dropped the book as if it burned him suddenly.
"Vortians? they're filthy, I'm not touching that garbage!"
Skoodge rolled his eyes.
"Suit yourself, shorty." Skoodge shrugged, a smug smirk on his face.
"SHORTY?" Zim spluttered indignantly "H-HOW COULD Y-YOU!" Zim jumped up and shoved Skoodge back. Skoodge tripped up on the books but kept his balance.

"Did I strike a nerve there?" Skoodge snorted, Zim growled as Skoodge continued to laugh at him.
"Whatever, what am I doing here anyway? You said you wanted to tell me something?"
"Oh yeah, that. I figured it was time for you to know what happened when you were knocked out."
Zims antennae sprung up.
"Tell me."

...

When Skoodge arrived at the planet he saw a pink mist around a group of passed out Irkens. When he landed he recognised it as the poison that knocked out Irkens, he took out a gas mask from the corner in his ship. He put it on and stepped out.

He saw Tallest red sitting on the edge of a stage wearing a similar gas mask with purple passed out next to him. Purple must of tried to come up too early, Skoodge figured.

He was the first to the Defects to see the helpers. There were a fuckton of Enforcers looking around the crowd. Some of them were picking up the Irkens and tossing them into a ship from the armada. The rest were picking up things like weapons and Sirs. They were storing them in a sectioned off part of the ship. As he approached Red noticed him.
"Invader Skoodge," he greeted "You're a little late, hey can you just help the robots pack those useless Sirs into the ship?"
"Yes sir." Skoodge nodded.

As he was helping them he noted Zims unit Gir. He packed it into the ship. After that was all done he sat in the ship with the robots and stared out the window as they travelled. He pulled some paper and a pen out from his pocket and began drawing out the path. He watched the ship be driven through wormholes and past planets he'd never even imagined before...

They evantually landed on a shiny white planet, Defectia, it seemed bare as planets go. All except for the buildings they landed by.

Once they landed on the planet Skoodge was shoved out and simply watched as all the Irkens were dumped on the ground. The tallest and the Enforcers with the Irkens' shit disappeared down a hole heading underground. Then the hologram appeared of a now awake purple and red having a petty argument.

He watched as Tak rose to her feet, looking around in starstruck confusion. Soon the effects of the mist wore off and everyone stood up. Then the Tallest made their startling announcement and left.

Then Skoodge took notice of Zim, he seemed very paniced. Skoodge rushed behind him after noticing Zim fainting. He caught Zim before he could walk against the hard marble. He dragged him off and rested him against a wall. Then Verk appeared telling them all to gather in the Meeting hall, he pointed out the weird building then disappeared inside it.

When everyone else left Skoodge waited for Zim to wake up...
