The Quest of Life (BNHA Fantasy AU)

Good Morning

"Izuku? Izuku! Come on Honey your breakfast is gonna get cold!"

"Coming Mom!"

My name is Izuku Midoriya. I am a traveller and i live with my mom in the Endeavirious Kingdom. The Endeavirious Kingdom is ruled by King Enji Todoroki and Queen Rei Todoroki. There are 3 towns in the Kingdom. Hillford, Dundee Leeside and The Tiny Village: Yueii where me and my Mom live. 

Currently i am preparing for a little trip. As a traveller i get requests from some of the neibours. Our neibour Miss Yu Takeyama wanted flowers for her wedding so thats what i am going to find. Some rare flowers on the mountains. 

I grab my satchel and head downstairs. I see my mom standing by the stove stirring something. I walk up to her and give her a quick kiss on the cheek. She turns and looks at me with a huge smile on her face. But i know she really wants to cry. She tries her best to be happy but i know she is pretending sometimes. I don't scold her for it though. 

You see my father just upped and left us last year. Then 2 weeks ago we found out that he was killed by an animal. 

I went to the table and sat down. Mom turned off the stove and started spooning some porridge into 2 bowls. She then sat down. We gave thanks for our food then stated eating.

"So who are you going with today Izuku?" Mom asked. I always take a friend with me when i'm going travelling. Usually it's Ochako but sometimes i'll go with Iida or Kacchan.

"Ochako is going with me today. She said her plans were sudenly cancelled so she could come"

Mom gave me a smug look and then said "Are you gonna elope? Because if you are i hope i am invited." I turned red and said "What!? Mom! NO!" She laughed and I could tell it was honest so I laughed a long with her. 

After breakfast she grabbed my satchel from me and started loading it with food. 

"Moooom. I don't need that much."

"You are skinny as a twig. You have to eat." She said stuffing a whole baguette inside. 

She handed back my bag and I took out the baguette, 4 of the 6 apples, 7 of the 8 sandwiches and 3 of the 5 bottles of water.

"Bye Mom!" I called as I put on my boots. She came out and waved bye to me as I ran down the path. I ran down the path and stopped when I reached the centre of the village. I stayed there for a few seconds to recover my breath. Then I walked through the village.

"Hey hey! Midoriya!" I turned to see Sato the baker fixing the sign for his shop.

"Hey Sato. What have you got today?"

"There's some frsh cinnamon rolls on the counter for your girlfriend."

"You mean Ochako? Oh she's not my girlfriend."

He looked confused for a moment but then he smiled and went back to fixing the sign.

"Well give one to her anyway."

I opened my bag to get my wallet out when Sato jumped off the ladder stopping me and said "Hey, this is to pay you for getting those herbs for me."

"Are you sure Sato? I feel pretty bad. I'm always freeloading here."

"You're a friend. And it's not nice to charge people who help you out."

I put my wallet back and thanked him.

"Hey it's no problem. Go inside and you'll see them on the counter."

"Ok" I went inside and headed to the counter.

"Good morning Midoriya. Ribbit"

I turned around to see Asui. She works here as a cleaner in the mornings. In the afternoon she works in a bar as a waitress.

"Good morning Asui."

"I told you to call me Tsu." 

"Oh yeah right. Tsu."

"Say do yo..."

"Excuse me? Can you take my order?" A girl with silver coloured hair and a horn was standing behind her.

"Sorry Midoriya."

"It's ok. I've gotta go meet Ochako now anyway."

"Ok then. Tell her I said hello!"

"Will do." I grabbed the rolls and stuffed them into my satchel as I ran out of the shop. 

"See you later Sato! Thanks for the cinnamon rolls!"

"The world doesn't want to know what you have bought you nerd!" I saw Kacchan across the street. Looks like he just got back from another hunt.

"Morning Kacchan. You look well." He just continued walking passed me looking straight ahead.

Oh well. I head towards The Watching Pillar. That's where Ochako lives. It's a very big tower in the middle of town. As soon as I entered I was greeted by the smell of Lavender and sweets. 

"Hey Ochako! You ready to go?"

"Coming!" A small girl with brown hair and big brown eyes came running down the stairs. She was wearing a cream coloured dress and a purple shawl. She grabbed a huge hat from the rack that was by the door and put on a pair of brown boots. She grabbed a staff and literally shoved me outside and locked her door. Then she turned around to face me and said. "Hi!"

"G-good morning Ochako. I brought you some Cinnamon rolls."

"*Gasp* Deku I didn't know you were a cannibal!"

"Wait what?"

She laughed and said "It was a joke."

I smiled and handed her a roll. Then we went off to start our first quest of the day.
