What do you guys think happened?
Ofcourse I won. He lost with 2-0. If I played another one, I would have won that too.
"You know, she was always this good in Tennis. Don't dishearten, she is a really good player.", my mother started bragging and I rolled my eyes as I walked out of the court without any other word.
I stood outside and looked at the plain, deserted land in front of me. My racquet was touching the ground and the other end was in my hand as I looked at a distance.
She was always like this. All the fucking time. Business is the only think that matters to her and I hate it.
"Why do you have to be like this, mom?"
I sighed and looked down.
"I didn't know you were a psycho too."
I turned my head immediately and looked at Zayden coming my way while drinking water from his nike water bottle.
"What did you just say?", I looked at him with piercing eyes.
"Mad people talk to themselves."
I looked away from him. He is not even worth an argument.
"You were good back there. Probably the only thing your mother can brag about you.", he chuckled and my grip tightened around my racquet.
"Zayden, just go away."
He bent down a little and put his face right in front of mine.
"You know what will happen if I tell your mom what you did yesterday night?"
I looked at him and raised my eyebrow.
"What did I do Zayden?", I asked him knowing very well what he was talking about.
I was now facing him completely and he wasn't that tall from me to be honest. I guess only 4 to 5 inches.
"Throwing punches at guys in a club is not a normal thing for a daughter of a big business woman."
I sighed and took deep breaths.
"Why does everything for you guys lie in reputation?", I just said in one go and started walking away.
"Sia Dien. Stop right there."
I stopped and groaned lightly.
"What is it?", I didn't turn to look at him.
"If you don't control your attitude, I'll have to tell your mother what you did yesterday to that guy's face.", I could feel the annoyance in his voice.
"Go on. But how do you exactly know Zayden? As far as I know your mom told us that you have never gone to a club without her permission. That none of your friends are hooligans enough to go to a club like that."
I smirked at him finally turning around to see his expressionless face.
"I'm not trying to pick problems with you. So better if you stay far away from me too."
I was done taunting and fighting with him over the thing I don't even know about.
He took all my friends with just a rumour about me and I still don't hate him. And he hates me just because I exist?
Zayden belonged to the group who cared about what the society would say. When you become like me, you hardly give a fuck. The society, my mom's friends, her enemies, her colleagues are nothing for me. I don't care what they think about me.
What I really care about is mom. She is building such a harmful empire around herself that would leave her lonely and broken at the end. She is busy earning money while breaking her family apart slowly and steadily.
