Louis P.O.V.

I didn't care where I parked my car and jumped out of it, immediately running into the hospital. I ignored the odd looks people were giving me and ran up to the front desk.

"Harry-Harry Styles! Where is he?!" I shouted out of breath. The girl at the desk looked startled but still said, "Down the hall, last door on the right." I barely gave her time to finish before I ran down the hall to Harry's room. When I pushed open the door I saw Harry sitting on the edge of the hospital bed, swinging his legs as he held a blood soaked towel to the left side of his face. He looked to the door and smiled widely when he saw it was me.

"Louis!" I ran up to him and cupped the unhurt side of his face before kissing him passionately and oh God how I had missed his lips on mine. When he pulled away we both exhaled, "Wow." We laughed slightly. I had missed Harry so much I had completely forgot where we were for a moment. My smiled faded and I pushed him slightly. "What the hell did you do?!" Now that I saw he was fine, I was more mad at him for scaring me. He wasn't phased though, he was still smiling up at me.

"You wouldn't believe what I did Louis!" I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "What did you do?" "I got beat up!" I looked at him as if he was crazy. "You got beat up? Why are you happy about this?! And by who?!" I gripped his free hand out of anger. I was going to kill whoever laid a finger on him. "I was at the restaurant Louis and you wouldn't believe who came in." I flapped my hand in the air for him to continue since I was getting antsy. "Gavin!" "What?!" "Yeah! He came in and I had to wait on him so I 'accidentally'," he held up air quotes, "Spilt hot coffee on him. He got so mad he hit me, four times! The police took him to jail for assault, isn't that great?! He's finally in jail!" I was still looking at him with my eyebrows furrowed and my mouth opened slightly. "You got yourself beat up and sent to the hospital just for revenge on my college bully?" "He wasn't just a college bully Louis. he hurt you, he almost... you know. I did this for you. he's finally in jail." I didn't know what else to do, but push my lips on his again. "Why did you do this you idiot?" "Because he hurt you. And no one hurts you." I couldn't help the large smile that spread across my face. "I can't believe you did this Harry. I want to be mad at you but... you have no idea how happy I am he's gone. My worst fear was that I was going to run into him one day and now you've take away that fear." "Anything for you Louis." I kissed his forehead this time. When I pulled away he said, "Louis would you mind doing me a favour?" "Anything for you baby." "Now that Gavin is in jail, can you get rid of your gun?" I hesitated and stiffened at the question. "Louis? What's wrong?" "Nothing, I just- I'm a little afraid to-" "Louis, Gavin is gone. He can't hurt you anymore and I most certainly won't let anything happen to you so, please?" I couldn't help but smile down at his hopeful eyes. "Sure love. I'll get rid of it." He smiled widely at me like a little kid.

The door came open just then to reveal a doctor. "Ah, Mr. Tomlinson I assume?" I nodded. I'm Doctor Warren, we spoke on the phone earlier." I just nodded again. "How is he?" "He's fine. No concussion, he's just going to need a few stitches under his eye." "Stitches?" I repeated. He came over and removed Harry's towel. I winced when I saw a large cut on his cheek just below his eye. "He was wearing a ring." Harry said timidly, afraid I would be mad at him. I was slightly mad that he would hurt himself so badly for me but I wasn't about to let it show. He had good intentions for what he did. He really cared about me. "Shouldn't need too many." Doctor Warren said as he got out the stitching equipment. "I'll go call Niall and Liam." I said and was about to leave but Harry pulled on my hand, "I already called them. they're waiting for me at home, just please stay?" How could I say no to that? I smiled, "Of course." I sat on the bed on his other side, "I'll never leave you." "Never leave me again you mean?" My smile faded. "I'm sorry Harry. I really am." "Will you please tell me why you've been ignoring me now?" Harry wasn't even phased when Doctor Warren began cleaning his cut. I sighed, "I'll tell you. but once we're home okay?" he nodded. He squeezed my hand tightly when the doctor began stitching up his cheek. "It's okay." I cooed as I ran a thumb over his hand, "I'm here. And I promise not to go anywhere again." This made him smile.
