Harry was holding the wound looking at it. When he looked up he managed to choke out, "L-Louis." "Harry!" I yelled when he began to fall. I ran to him and caught him just in time, holding him in my lap and immediately feeling his blood pool onto me. "No, no. please Harry hold on, please." I ran a hand over his cheek, smearing some blood on it by accident. I felt the tears forming in my eyes as I pressed my hand onto his stomach in a pathetic attempt to stop the bleeding. "I-I had to-to make sure you-you were okay." He choked on his blood. "Shh, Harry please you're going to be okay. You're going to be alright. I'm so sorry Harry. I'm so sorry just... please. I'm begging you to hold on. The police will be here soon." What have I done?! I should've gotten rid of the damned gun when Harry asked me to the first time. Now it was my turn to choke, but on my tears. Harry's breathing became irregular. "L-Louis. I don't think-I don't think I'm going to make-" "Don't." I whimpered, "Don't you dare finish that sentence. You're going to be okay." My tears rolled off my chin and landed on Harry's shirt. "Shit Harry I'm so sorry!" I put my forehead on his chest and began sobbing. I stopped when I heard him... laughing? I looked up and in fact saw a smile laced across his face. "W-Why are you laughing?" "Because you're-you're so cute. Don't-Don't be sorry. Please. That's th-the last thing I want please-" "Okay, okay." I said quickly to shush him since he was getting worked up, "Anything you want my love. Just please, hold on. For me, please." I looked down at his wound to see it was still bleeding heavily. "Louis." He choked out. "What my love?" I met his palling face again, a little blood was tricking out his mouth. I wiped it away as he said, "It-It doesn't hurt anymore." My face twisted to panic. "What?! Harry please look at me," He met my eyes again. "Please just keep looking at me and keep breathing okay?" He nodded weakly. I cupped his cheek with my free hand. It was full of blood but it didn't matter anymore. "Please don't leave me Harry. I'm so in love with you. I can't lose you." "I love you too L-Lou..." He never finished. His eyes slowly closed. "Harry?" Almost in slow motion his head fell backward. "No! Harry!" I shook him, "Harry please! Please!" I put my forehead on his chest and sobbed again. "Please don't leave me. I need you. I need you here with me. I don't make sense without you. This can't be happening!" I yelled as I looked up. I shook him more roughly, "Harry!" A blue flashing in the window caught my attention just then. The police Harry had called were here. But they were too late.

I sat in the waiting room of the hospital with my elbows on my knees, bouncing one foot impatiently, the handcuffs jingling as I did so. There were three police officers guarding the door in case I tried to escape but I wasn't going anywhere until I knew how Harry was. He had passed out in my arms but the ambulance took him away with seconds to spare. They couldn't tell me anything because it didn't look good for him, and still doesn't. He's been in surgery for a few hours now and I still don't know anything, accept the fact that I was in a lot of trouble for shooting him. I reluctantly called the one person who I knew could get me out of this; Dan. I didn't really care about my outcome at the moment, the only thing I cared about was Harry.

"Out of my way!" I heard Dan's familiar voice boom behind the officers and shit have I never been happier to hear it. I stood up to greet him but the officer that was stood next to me, pushed me back down with a hand on my shoulder. Dan came up to me and pulled me up, ignoring the officer's protests. "What the hell is wrong with you?! The contract clearly says you're not to get into any legal trouble! Shooting someone would count as legal trouble Louis!" "I know." I said quietly. I didn't have it in me to sass back. I was too heartbroken over Harry. "And another thing I – wait, did you say 'I know'?" I nodded, "Yeah I did." Dan looked taken back that I was actually listening and not retorting back in any sarcastic manner. "Okay. Good." He cleared his throat before beckoning me to sit down again. I obeyed and he turned to the officer, "A moment?" The officer clearly looked annoyed but still made his way over to the other three by the door. Dan turned to me, "Listen Louis, you've told the whole situation over the phone. I can get you out of this in a few hours." I looked at him incredulously, "R-Really?" "Have you forgotten who you're talking to? It was all an accident, and you have a legal permit for the gun. I'll have you off even if Styles dies." I noticeably became upset at the way he was talking about Harry. I looked down and felt the tears brimming in my eyes. "What?" He asked, genuinely concerned since he's never seen me cry before, or even this upset. All I could do was shake my head since I knew my voice would come out as a whimper. Dan was silent for a while. "Louis, look at me." He was so stern I couldn't help but obey. He sighed when he saw the tears in my eyes. "Why was Styles at your house so late?" "I-I told you on the phone. He was locked out and needed a place-" "Yes I know what you told me but obviously it was a lie. Now, I want you to tell me the truth Louis. why was he there so late?" I exhaled through my nose as I closed my eyes. I knew it was only a matter of time before I told Dan and my mum about Harry. I opened my eyes before saying, "He's-He's been staying at my house. He practically lives there." "And why?" Now I just felt like he was trying to humiliate me. "Because we've been seeing each other. And we love each other." Dan groaned as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "I should've saw this coming. I should've fucking saw this coming. The way you two look at each other, that absurd tip you gave him the first night at the restaurant, and how differently you act around him. I've never seen you act so weird as when you're around Styles." "His name is Harry." I snapped, "His name is Harry and now he might die because of me! I love him Dan! Okay, and I'm sorry if you don't like that but it's the truth and there's nothing you can do to change it." He shook his head, "Yes there is Louis. The contract you sighed says you have to find a girl to marry. How're you going to do that if you're running around with some waiter?" "He's not just a waiter! He's so much more to me! He's my everything and I'm in love with him! I don't even care about this damn contract anymore! If-no-when Harry lives I'm taking him far away from here so I can be with him and there's nothing you can do to stop me!" Dan clenched his jaw. He never broke eye contract with me as he exhaled. I struggled to keep my eyes open from his breath blowing into them. "Louis," He said angrily, barely about a whisper, "I'm going to get you out of this situation, but until then I think a night in jail would be good for you." He beckoned over he police officers. "But I need to be here when Harry wakes!" Dan ignored me and stood up, pulling me with him. I tried to get out of his grasp but my still handcuffed wrists made it easy for him to control me. The officers took a hold of me and began dragging me out of the hospital, much to my protests that I had to stay to be here for Harry. I wasn't even trying to stop the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I was forced outside and into a police car.

Third P.O.V.

Dan paced the waiting room of the hospital, trying to think of how he was going to get Louis out of his horrible situation. Dan knew he could get Louis off but now he was trying to think of what to do once Louis was free. If Harry lived then he knew Louis would ran away with him, leaving behind the company and his plans to retire early. It had been a few hours since Dan had the officers take Louis away and he still doesn't regret it. He was hoping a night in jail would knock some sense into him but he knew it wouldn't. Louis clearly loved Harry and would do anything for him, including whisking him away the second he was able-bodied, regardless of the contract and Louis' future.

"Excuse me?" A small voice pipped up behind Dan. He turned around to see a small nurse standing shyly waiting for his attention. "Yes?" "Are you here for Harry Styles?" Dan sighed and rolled his eyes as he said, "I suppose." "Well we have excellent news, Harry is going to be okay. He's going to make a full recovery." Dan knew the nurse was expecting some sort of happy response but he was far from happy. This meant Louis would be leaving the second he could. The nurse looked slightly confused at Dan's lack of response but still continued, "We've placed him in a medically inducted come though. There's no telling how long he'll be gone for but he's going to live." This gave Dan some sort of relief. As long as Harry was in his come, Louis would stay. He knew Louis wouldn't leave Harry's side for any reason. A dark realization came to Dan just then. There was only one thing that would make Louis stay and go through with the contract. "Can I see him?" Dan asked suddenly.

The nursed looked taken back at his sudden interest but still said, "Oh, yes of course. Follow me." And so Dan did, following the short girl down several corridors. Dan went over his maniacal plan in his head as he followed. They eventually stopped at a door to the right, the nurse opened but stepped aside to let Dan in on his own. "I'll give you a few minutes." She said as she shut the door.

Dan looked down at Harry with pity. He really did feel bad for the kid. He was connected to several machines and had a breathing tube down his throat. Dan sighed, "You think you're so clever getting Louis to fall in love with you. you think you can just come in and ruin everything. Well you're wrong." Dan knew how crazy it was to talk to someone who couldn't hear him but he was too angry he didn't care. "I hope you said a nice goodbye to him, because you're never going to see him again. the only way Louis will stay and go through with the contract is if you're dead, which is exactly what he's going to think. As far as I'm concerned, the nurse told me you died, that there was nothing they could do to save you. I can keep him in the dark long enough for him to marry a nice girl, or any girl for that matter." Dan stood up strait, smirking at his own maniacal plan. "It was nice meeting you, Harry." He spat his name out as if it were vile. With another evil smirk he left the room. Dan didn't have a problem telling Louis the love of his life was dead, which is exactly what he was going to do.
