Louis P.O.V.

My eyes lazily came open the next morning and I immediately regretted opening them. The light pouring into the room made my head throb. Every little movement or sound I made gave me that nauseous feeling. I sat up, groaning as I did so from my pounding head. I closed my eyes and rubbed them with the plans of my hands. How did I get into bed last night? Normally when I drink I fall asleep on my living room floor. I hated being in this bed. It's where Harry and I first made love. My eyes shot open when I faintly remembered how I got into bed. Nash got me here, right after I tried to kiss her. I ignored my pounding head and ran to the door to find my cell phone so I could call her for her forgiveness. When I opened the door I jumped when I saw Nash holding several things in one hand, about to grab the doorknob with her free one. "Nash." I said in surprisement that she was here. "Hi Lou. How're you feeling?" She stepped passed me and went to the untouched side of the bed. She started laying out on the bedside table a plate of pancakes, orange juice, aspirin, and a muffin. "I erm, I've been better." I went over to the bed and sat on it with her, "Did you do all this for me?" "Yeah, I knew you would be sick in the morning so I stayed the night. I hope you don't mind." "N-No, of course not. Thank you for doing that. I thought you would've left after what I did last night." She sighed, "So you remember?" I nodded as I looked to the sheets, embarrassed with myself. "Yeah. I'm so sorry Nash. I wasn't myself last night and you just-" "Look like Harry. I know," She laughed slightly, "You told me several times last night." I managed to crack a smile. "I'm sorry. I really am." She shook her head, "It's alright, really. I know you're just upset over Harry." I nodded at the sheets. She held the aspirin and orange juice in front of my face. I gladly took it with a smile. Once it was down she handed me the muffin but I waved it away. "No Louis. I know you've barely been eating. Now either eat it or I'm shoving it down your throat." I laughed before taking it out of her hand. "Thanks Nash. you're a really good friend." She smiled triumphantly when I took a large bite. "I know I am." I snorted at her.

"Check mate." Nash said as she moved her bishop in the winning position of the game of chess we were playing. I gapped at her, "That's the third time you've won." She shrugged her shoulders, "I guess I'm smarter than you." We both laughed together. It was a few hours later and since it was raining Nash and I decided to stay in and play a few board games. I was surprised she wanted to stay but I knew she was doing it to make sure I didn't drink. That's what I would be doing if she weren't here so I'm glad she stayed. She really does care about me. I knocked the pieces away, letting them fall on the living room floor we were sitting on. "It's a stupid game anyway." She snorted at me, "Someone's a sore loser." I huffed as I leaned back on my elbows. She sighed before saying, "Louis, can I ask you something?" I sat up again in concern, "Yeah. What's wrong?" "Nothing, it's just..." She trailed off so I took her hand, "Hey." She looked up from the ground to meet my eyes. "You can ask me anything, we're friends here." She nodded, "Louis, why have you begun drinking?" I sighed as I looked down. I took my hand away to run it through my hair. "It just helps. I just miss Harry so much. It helps the pain, especially since I caused him to end up where he is." Nash shifted so she was sat in front of me, "You don't have to drink to make the pain go away. You're only hurting yourself. I don't want to see you do this again so when you feel like you need to drink I want you to call me and I'll help okay?" I nodded with a toothless smile. "Thanks Nash. I'm really glad we met. I'd probably be passed out drunk right now if it weren't for you." "Well since Harry's not here at the moment, you need someone to look after you." She chuckled softly but I didn't. why would she be laughing at Harry's death? And why did she say 'at the moment'? "Speaking of him, I was going to meet Zayn to go see him if you wanted to come?" "Zayn your bartender?" "Yeah, he and Harry are good friends as well." I nodded in understand meant but then said, "I could tell she wanted to try and convince me, but she knew not to push and pry. "Okay," Was all she mustered up, "I'll see you later then Lou. And remember, call me." I nodded as she shot me a warning look. She stood up and I followed suit, waiting for her to put her moccasins on before opening the door for her. With a few goodbyes she was gone. I put my back up against the door and sighed. Nash was a great friend. I actually rather enjoyed being around her regardless of het striking resemblance to Harry.
