Donghyuck's pov
"Uh hang on Jaehyuck I'll be right back," I dashed off to look for Taeyong. I look around the crowed avoiding the three new guests when I finally found the blondie.
"Taeyong! What the hell is Lucas doing here? You didn't tell me they were coming."
"He's here?! I don't remember inviting them, sorry Hyuck. Just do your best to avoid him and stay out of trouble."
"Ughh fine, I would've thought you would kick him out or something."
"Well it's hard to do, since Johnny is friends with them. Now just have fun it's a party Donghyuck."
Defeated I head on back with Jaehyun.
Third person
Today was not going as planned for Donghyuck at all. He couldn't even go with Jaehyun anymore because Lucas and his group already got to him first.
"Just suck it up Hyuck, ignore him" He thought to himself. He walked up to the group and apologized to his crush for taking so long.
"Oh hey Donghyuck I didn't know you were here." Jeno greeted him.
"Well it's not like I can miss Johnny's birthday, but I could say them same to you Jeno." Jeno just chuckled at the younger's sass.
"Have you seen Jaemin around?" He asked changing the topic.
"Stay away from him you creep." Donghyuck spat out.
"How about Renjun?"
"You're disgusting."
"C'mon Hyuck let him have his fun, it's a party." Yuta butted in.
"I don't think I ever gave you permission to call me that."
"Ouch, you really think anyone would want to fuck you with that attitude?" Jeno chimed in.
"Jeno that's enough." Donghyuck turned his head around surprised to see the owner of his defense. Donghyuck let out a shy smile and watched Lucas drag his troublesome friends somewhere else.
"Trouble really seems to follow you shortie."
"You're not that taller than me."
"Anyone shorter than me is a shortie in my eyes." Donghyuck laughed at his response.
"Hey listen Donghyuck. I know it's really none of my business I mean I just met you but what happened between you and Lucas? It seems like there's still something between you two." Donghyuck stared into the older's eyes, wondering if he should tell him. He hooked himself onto Jaehyun arm pulling him to a quieter place. He led him into Taeyong's room and locked the door.
"Sorry for taking you to Taeyong's room it's the farthest room from the living room.
"It's fine I've moved on," Jaehyun laughed. He looked into Donghyuck's troubled eyes.
"Are you okay with this Donghyuck?"
"Yes, at this point I have to talk about to someone who isn't Mark to get over it." He sat on the bed and pat it so Jaehyun would sit too.
"Mark introduced me to Lucas, and right away I knew I like him. He was so nice and funny when I met him. Not long after we started talking, then a week after we started dating. At first I liked that we were moving things so fast, but I should've realized that was just a red flag." He pauses since he started choking up on his words. Jaehyun laid a reassuring hand on Donghyuck's and he continues on.
"It was the day before I started my first day of college, we decided to spend the whole day together since we won't be seeing each other as much anymore. We were in his place drinking and watching a movie when it happened. He asked me if I wanted to do it and I told him no. I wasn't ready, but he was too drunk to listen. I was lucky enough that Mark was on his way to pick me up, he told me he felt like I wasn't safe. If he didn't come I could've been-"
"It's okay Hyuck you don't have to talk about it anymore." Jaehyun pull him into a hug letting Donghyuck cry into his shoulder. After ten minutes he managed to calm himself down.
"Great now my makeup is all messed up," Hyuck joked. He walked into Taeyong's bathroom and Jaehyun followed. He took out some makeup from the cabinet and began applying it. Jaehyun closely watched when suddenly something sparked inside him. He felt small butterflies flying around inside his whole body.
Is it a crime to want to watch him get ready everyday?
