I walked away from the woman's house, and came to a stop at the pub, now this was a place Jonathan wouldn't mind being stuck in! They had countless selections of wine, liquor, and beer. This was Jonathan's favorite part about any town, the pubs. Oh how I missed Jonathan, and Konnor, and even Pilot Forte. How did I get here? Obviously I know the answer, but how? The strange guy said something earlier about this being 'the next stage', that I had ascended to a new level, like some sort of video game. I had decided i'm gonna try and figure this out. I walked towards another section of the beasts stomach, lo and behold, I froze again, and this time, the voice echoed in my head, not throughout the beast. "You're very clever, Kip. I'm gonna help you escape into the next realm." he said. This was a completely different voice from the one that i'm used to hearing.  This one was a higher pitch voice, whereas the other voice was deeper and 'manlier' so to speak.

In the moment, I asked, "Next realm? What does any of this mean?", without skipping a beat he replied. "You'll see" I can't see him, but i'd imagine hes winking at me right now. I then unfreeze, and fall suddenly. Then I go unconscious for a brief moment.  When I awake,I find myself surrounded by hooded men holding some sort of book. The deeper voice that I had heard earlier in the day had spoken to me once more. "Ah, good, your awake. I stood up, and immediately realized that I was chained down to the ground. This day really had me very shaken. All of this was just too much. I closed my eyes, hoping that if, and when I opened them, i'd be safe in bed, the bone creatures would be gone, and i'd saved the day. Obviously, it didn't work. Hey, it was worth a shot. I had laid on the ground hopeless. Until I had seen something magical, something that would change everything. Boys, I think I just found my ticket out of here, and that ticket was the amulet. The amulet shined, and my eyes pried open for a moment.

I stood up once more, and reached for it, it was only an arms length away, suddenly, the chains dissipated and my face plummeted into the stone pedestal, and I passed out, stone cold. I was this close to victory, I couldn't tell what reality was anymore. This guy was playing mind games with me. I had awoken once more, I looked down in my hands and you'll never guess what was inside my arms. That's right, the amulet! Now that's great and all, but how in the hell am I supposed to get out of here though? This was such a valuable artifact that only few people had possessed before. I pulled out my sword, and gnawed through the tough skin of the beast, and mind you this beast is big enough to fit giant villages, and still have room for 2 more, this wasn't your ordinary beast. My blade wasn't strong enough though, and I gave up on that real quick. I then realized that the amulet could be of use. I stuck the amulet around my neck and harnessed the energy. The amulet has massive energy waves, and you can basically clear hordes of anything with it. Instantly, the sword began drawing the skin away from the beast, and creating a tunnel for me. A human sized tunnel that was perfect for my size. The sword dug through the creatures skin like a kitchen knife on butter. I slid down the hole, and then I fell into a deep pocket of the sea. I was far underwater. That didn't matter though, because I had the amulet with me.

I drew the amulet from my neck, sheathing my sword once more, as I floated to the surface of the water. I quickly moved to the shore, in search of my friends, my friends whose coordinates I knew not. Not a sign, nor trace of them in sight. It seems that they were off the radar of the amulet as well. I'd wondered where they were to be off the radar of the amulet, such a powerful device, and it couldn't detect such a minuscule plane on the grids. I scowled at that, and with my hands on my head, walked on land for the first time in 2 days it seemed. Where could they be?, that was the only question flowing in my river of thoughts. I didn't know what to think, all of this was surreal, and I had not the faintest clue of what had happened last night, or before that, all I could focus on was finding  my friends, because they were more than just friends, they were family.
