Chapter 7: Never Tell Me The Odds

We pulled aside and Pilot Forte looked at me and said, "You know, I really wish that Kip kid could have came back with us. He was a good guy. Pretty nuts, but a good guy". I answered back, "He was the best friend i'd ever had. I really miss 'em. I didn't realize how much you have to cherish life, and enjoy it while it lasts. Really goes to show that Drake was right, 'i'm here for a good time, not a long time', I added. "I really just miss him so much, but hes okay, I can just feel it!" I said, I could feel tears swelling up in my face. Sophie comforted me. "He's gonna be alright, just don't worry about it, it will just make it worse. Just like that, our engine failed. 'Oh no!' I thought. Not me and all my friends too, this cant be happening! We all fall onto the shore of an island. I awake, and rush over to Sophie. "Are you alright?!" I exclaim. "I'm fine. Just lift this piece of debris off of me!" she said. I pulled the piece off with ease. We both neared Pilot Forte, and we saw that his body had a bunch of plane parts stuck in him. He had the steering wheel impaling his stomach area, and the metal from the wings stuck in his face. He was brutally mauled and maimed by the plane, and he was our only pilot, and none of us can fly. "Damn it, how are we supposed to get out of here now!" I exclaim. Konnor is also fine, he starts kicking rocks, and Sophie just stands there, with her hands around her hips, staring at her feet.

Konnors eyes widen up, and in an instant, he looks up at us. "I just saw Kip!" he said. "What, how?" I exclaimed. "It was a vision, he's on an island, just like us!" he said. I immediately started screaming Kips name, and running around the island like a madman. The road was full of twists and turns, but Konnor finally ran up side the hill, and sure enough, there was Kip, greeting us with his amulet. "You crazy son of a bitch, you did it!," I said. "What happened to you?" I asked in curiosity. "God, I missed you guys, wheres the pilot?" Kip asked. "Oh, him..." Sophie added. "He was impaled when we crashed" Konnor said. Kip frowned, but he immediately said, want to see a cool trick, then we suddenly found ourselves in a small house. I recognized this house, this was Kips house. We had made it to Kips place in Mandireville. Home, sweet, sweet home. The home we hadn't been in such a long time. 

Kip lit up with excitement.
