She glared at him from across the table, her mouth twisting into a smile that she was trying to hide.

He returned her gaze and winked at her, a lopsided grin on his face.

He egged on. She rolled her eyes at him, even though the blush on her face was clearly evident.

Digong was about to send another message but the defense secretary's voice rang throughout the room.
"I hope I have everyone's attention," Lorenzana glared at two particular individuals who were seated opposite each other. The glancing, giggling and obvious text messaging was getting into his nerves. It was too much.
"Please," he pleaded when they both looked up at him. Everyone in that meeting knew who he was talking about. "Sunod i-ban na natin yang mga cellphone sa meeting," he added a snide remark.
Leni gave Digong a chastising glare and Digong looked away as if he had done nothing wrong.
The meeting continued with the two of them glancing and smiling at each other, both knowing that it must have been too obvious to everyone that they were flirting. If they were to be found out, it would be a big scandal, but they didn't really care at this point.
When the meeting ended, both Digong and Leni wanted to opt out right away but the defense secretary stopped them.
"Both of you. Follow up meeting. Ngayon na," he demanded.
They followed Lorenzana into another meeting room.
"Ikaw kasi eh. Ayaw mo makinig sa akin," she clicked her tongue and crossed her arms as they walked sided by side towards the meeting room that Delfin had indicated.
"Di naman siguro tayo pagalitan ni Del. I'm the president, I can do anything. Don't worry," Digong confidently said as slipped his hands into his pockets.
She scoffed at his audacity and the statement that seemed indicative of an abuse of power. "Hindi naman sa ganun. Pero that meeting was important and you're the president."
