The light was blinding at first. Soon though, he managed to adjust himself towards his surroundings.
A padded white room filled with a number of medical equipment, most of it plugged into his body. A one-way window right beside the metallic door on one of the walls. Matt looking down on him with empty eyes.
Wait, Matt?
He struggled to get up but it seemed like he was strapped onto his bed with leather straps. "What the hell-!", he furiously yelled before the ginger cupped his hand to Tord's mouth. As he leaned closer towards him, Tord realized how his friend reeked of the metallic smell of blood with each breath.
"Don't scream. Please". And he let go of his hand.
Matt then took out a tablet that he left on one of the heart rate monitors before shoving it to Tord. " You deal with this thing first and we'll talk. I gotta go check on the others".
"The others..?", Tord said. It then occured to him that something worse was going on in this old facility. "Matt, where are they? Where's Tom and-".
But Matt was already at the door,his hand turning the doorknob. Tord continued calling out to him, but to no use. Matt was too focused on going after the others that he just closed the door on him.
Either that or he just didn't want to talk to him, who knows?
