Johnny arrives back at the Special Forces base which he is greeted by Sonya Blade. Johnny gets out of the Jeep he came in ready to tell Sonya how it went but before he can open his mouth Sonya already begins to speak "Sub-Zero's dating someone isn't he" Johnny looks baffled "W-what? No where would you-" he's interrupted again by Sonya "Who is it" she asked Johnny trues to get a word out when Sonya continues to not let him speak "It's Skarlet isn't it" Johnny looks at her "yeah it's Skarlet, but you have to keep it a secret. It could ruin Sub-Zero's reputation" Sonya nods making sure Johnny knows she'll keep it a secret. "How'd you even guess anyway?" Johnny asks Sonya, she looks at him and says "just an easy guess".
Hours later back at Kuai Liang's cabin
Skarlet sits up in her bed and looks at Sub-Zero "he told Blade didn't he" Skarlet asks him, Sub-Zero sighs "yeah he did" he replies. "I'm going to kill him" Skarlet says laying back down next to Kuai Liang. Sub-Zero rests easy knowing that even though Johnny lied to him and told Sonya, he knows there secret is safe.
