"Babe, why are we going to a white collar, black tie event the day after we get back from our honeymoon?" Aiden protests as he ties his black bowtie. "It's a surprise and if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." I say as I come back into the bedroom and straighten his tie in a white Marciano dress with a cut-away neckline and gold studs on the collar and bodice, black strappy cut-out Jessica Simpson stilettos, and a cute black DKNY sweater. Aiden sighs and then kisses me in his white pressed button down Calvin Klein shirt, black Tommy Hilfiger suit, black Florsheim shoes and a black bowtie. "Whatever you say love." He says.

I pull up to 124 East Broadway and I get out followed by Aiden. He looks around and then sees the sign: 'Sanctuary Shelter.' "This is new. Is Leo here?" I smile and then say: "Why don't you see for yourself." He opens the door and is greeted by several apartment style rooms. Each with a mini-kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. There's a elevator, recreation room, and all together 380 apartments. "What is this babe?" He asks as tears well up in his eyes. "It's our place." I say and show him the lease and contract. He looks at it and then says: This is that paper you wanted me to sign before our wedding." "Yeah and it lists you as the owner." I say. He wipes a tear from his eye then hugs me and says: "I always wanted this." I chuckle and say: "I know. Being with you has taught me a lot. And it breaks my heart to see good men and women on the streets of New York City starving and cold. Nowhere to go. Overcrowded shelters. Big shots like Max and Troye laughing and giving them crumbs. I'd had enough. Besides that I had more than enough stashed away in savings to pay for it. And dad's side business did the plumbing and electrical. They all worked together so that we could have it open by the time we came home." Aiden sniffles then wipes another tear away and kisses me. "How many are here already?" "Just 12. Leo and Teddy included." "Well then we've better get a move on." He says and takes my hand as we head back to the car.
